Ghost's POV:
The tension on this bus is hell. Chris being a bundle of anxiety, Balz and Ryan at eachothers throats, and Jaide being secretive of something, I'm about to explode. Ricky is the most calm out of all of us, but it's probably all a faquade, given he has the worst anxiety I've ever personally seen.We are cuddled up on the couch, listening to Balz and Ryan arguing outside, Heresy softly singing This Is Halloween which I love, which is honestly the only thing keeping me sane at the moment. "You okay?" Ricky asks quietly. "Barely."
"What's wrong?" He leans on his forearm, looking down at me. "Well now I'm cold." I chuckle as he cuddles back, "Go on." He urges. "Just everyone, the tensions horrible." I sigh. "I know, I feel the same way. Sometimes I wonder if our times just run out." He traces my Edward Scissorhands tattoo, looking saddened.
"We're growing up." I shrug, pressing my lips against his hair. "I don't wanna." He whines. "Baby, in a lot of ways you already have. Do you know how much more mature you've gotten since I first met you?" I ask. "I guess, I did have a kid and get married." He agrees. "To a beautiful man." I chuckle, pulling his glance up to me so I could kiss him. "Yes, very." He smiles, locking our lips.
"Get a room." Ryan mutters hatefully, walking through the living room to his bunk. "Welcome back to reality, also known as Hell." Ricky sighs, resting his head on my chest again.
We must've fallen asleep because soon enough, we're shaken awake by Jaide. "Wakey, wakey. Time for sound check." She smiles kindly. "Mergh..." Ricky nuzzles his head into my chest, ignoring her. "Ok, your problem." She scoffs, walking off.
"Babes, come on, we gotta get up." I whisper, rubbing his back. "I don't wanna." He mutters, muffled by my chest. "Come on, at least let me up." I beg. He obeys, letting me up, but rolling towards the cushions, going back asleep.
I pick him up, carrying him out of the bus. "Merr... Fuck you." He murmurs against my shoulder. "You know you want to." I chuckle and I know he's mentally flipping me the bird.
"Finally decided to show up?" Chris gives us a disgusted look and continues to write whatever he's writing. I've had enough of his attitude.
"I don't care if you accidentally knocked up my best friend or not, you cannot keep treating us like shit." I glare at him. "Babe." Ricky warns. "Maybe if you cared more about your career I wouldn't have to be like this!" Chris yells at me. "We were five minutes late, chill out! We care as much about our careers as we can while still having a family!" I set Ricky down, not wanting to shout in his ear again.
"Try harder." He mutters, getting up. "Try harder huh? What have you been doing to out try us?! You've been laying in your bunk doing nothing and being pissy while Kylie texts and calls me just about constantly, crying because she's scared!" I shout at him, louder than I think I've ever been before. Ricky grabs my hands that were in fists out of anger, trying to calm me. "She does?" Chris asks, much quieter. "Yes you dumbass." I glare at him, wanting to punch him.
"Maybe if you actually cared like I do, you'd know that." I accidentally say out loud. "Cared like you do?! Excuse me, I care about her more than you seem to think, and I haven't talked to her because I'm scared I'll scare her more than she apparently is! And she's my girlfriend not yours, stop acting otherwise!" He shouts at me. "I'm not! But she is my best friend and no matter what you do, I'm still going to care about her!" I shout back. "Yeah, a best friend you slept with!"
"BOYS KNOCK IT OFF AND FOCUS ON WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN!" Korel yells at us and I go to grab my bass.
Apperently we weren't done yet because Chris when I turn around, he's in my face. "Leave her alone." He growls quietly. "Never." I glare at him. He shoves me into the wall behind me, holding me by the throat in a threatening way but wasn't choking me. "Leave her alone." He repeats. "I won't change my mind just because you are threatening me. I've been there for her a hell of a lot more than you ever could be." I spit.
"Let him go!" I hear Ricky scream at Chris, noticing. He does, sulking away. "You ok?" Ricky asks, looking me over. "Baby, I'm fine. Chris just needs to learn his place." I whisper, looking into his icy blues. "If he touches you again, I swear to god..." He mutters. "If he touches me again, I'll handle it. No offense but he'd squash you." I chuckle, kissing the edge of his lips. "What about you, he towers over you too." He asks. "Meh, that doesn't really matter, I have more body mass." He nods, and we walk to the stage with our fingers entwined.
