Ricky's POV:
We ended up on tour, Heresy's school 'kindly' asked us to unenroll her which was fine, she hated it there anyway. Dev is really stressed out though. Portland caught a cold so Dev hasn't really left him alone, leaving me with a lot of the packing and what not but Heresy is at the wonderful age where she wants to help with everything.

We are touring with Asking Alexandria and Bring Me The Horizon so that's cool. (A/n: MY THREE TOP BANDS I HAD TO.) I'm a little concerned with Asking's partying it might cause problems with the kids. They promised to at least give us a heads up, so I'm guessing that they'll cut down, otherwise they would've said to assume every night like last time we toured with them.

"Hey Babe? Do you know where the thermometer is?" I hear Devin call from the bunks. "Yep, coming." I grab it out of our bunk, handing it to him, in Portland's bunk-made-crib. "Oh, duh, sorry." "It's cool, but how about you come out here after you're done." I suggest. "Yeah, I'll be right out."

He comes out about twenty minutes later, sitting next to me, resting his head on mine. "You okay?" I ask, rubbing his thigh. "Yeah, I might have caught Port's cold." He murmurs, nuzzling down into my hair. "You do sound stuffed up, are you sure it's not just allergies?" I ask him, shifting so we laid together, his head on my shoulder. "I don't think so." I rest my head on his, rubbing his back the way I do when Heresy can't sleep. "You want something to take?" I ask. "No. I just want to stay like this for a bit." I sigh, nodding.

We fell asleep, waking again when Portland starts screaming. Chris was up to get him before Dev could even think of moving and he was cringing in pain trying to. "Hey, hey, come back here. Chris can handle this one." I pull him back, holding him.

"You're going to get sick..." He says in a raw voice. "Then so be it, let's get you better." I whisper. "Ky, can you get some big kid medicine for Devin?" I ask since she was right acrossed from us, feeding Raven with a bottle. "Sure thing."

Once there's medicine in his system, I get him into our bunk. "Ugh... I feel like shit." He mutters. "I know baby, just get some rest. We don't have to play tonight." I kiss his cheek. "Can you bring me Portland? I just want to see him." He pleads. "You're going to get separation anxiety... ok, but he needs his rest too." He nods, understanding.

When I come back showing Portland, he immediately brightens up. The kid was his everything. "Hey Port, miss me? Miss dada?" He coos quietly, smiling even more as Portland grabs his finger. "Yeah? I missed you too, but you got me sick. Two thumbs down dude." Dev chuckles, making himself cough. "Ok, time to rest." I tell him, carrying Port back out to his crib.

"Dad, dad, dad." Heresy runs at me. "What?" "Uncle Chris and Aunt Kylie are going to take me to the park on last time. That ok?" She asks, excited as always. "Yeah, of course. Have fun." She runs off once she had my permission.

Since they were going to be gone and Portland wouldn't need anything for awhile, I decided to climb in bed with Dev. "That didn't take long." He chuckles, coughing again. "Stop, you're hurting yourself when you do that. Just shush and sleep." I whisper, slightly hovering over him.

He nods and I press my lips against his. His lips barely parted, closing once again, trying not to get me sick. "Oh stop, I'm going to get sick by proximity, at least let me kiss you." I roll my eyes at him. "I was." He says like a smartass. "Shut up and kiss me right." He does, slow and loving. I break away, snuggling into his chest, listening as his breathing slowed, falling asleep.
