Secrets and Lies: 6 Breakup the Beginning

Secrets and Lies

Part 6:

Dr. Scott on the sixth flour. I walk into the clinic. I go in to check in at the front desk. I let the resectionist know that I'm here to see Doctor Scott. They take the necessary paper work from me. And I leave with Inui and go to the waiting room and sit and wait for my turn.

The nurse calls my name. "Ms. Sweetness De'Lay!"

"Right here..." I say.

"This way please." The nurse says.

I follow her to the examination room.

I walk through the doors of the examination room.

I'm a bit nervous. My anxieties are at a high level.

The nurse is taking my height, weight and vitals signs. Then I was Handed a johnie to put on, by the nurse.

"Please get undress and please put this on. Dr. Scott will be right with you."

"Okay." I say.

I begin to undress. I put on the gown that the nurse handed me. I climb on the table and wait for the doctor.
The door opens. Dr. Scott walks in. We greet each other. I discuss all my symptoms that I've been having since leaving the hospital stay. He smiles and starts to  examine me from head to my toe.

"Ms. Delay, I have to go and get your other test result from the lab and a copy of your ultra sound results. You can put your clothes on and I will be back to go over your test results." He leaves the the exam room.

I nodded yes.

He smiles back at me, as he leaves the room. I climb off the bed and proceeded to get dress.

I'm all dress and waiting for the doctor to come back with my results.

While I'm waiting. I text Inui to see if he's alright.

Inui,

Is every thing okay? I will be out soon don't worry I'm okay.
;-)

Sweetness

I send the text to him so he won't worry. In less than a minute I get a reply.

"Wow that was quick!" I say while I open the text.

Princess,

I'm okay....
Thank you for thinking of me. I will wait for you always.
:-)

Inui

As I'm reading the text a smile creeps across my face. Dr. Scott comes in holding a stack of papers.

"Ms. De'Lay, I had a lot of concerns about your health? But I see your test result are very different from three weeks ago. I am surprised and happy that you have taken it easy. And your babies are growing on schedule. I am going to miss you. And Dr. Rumbade is a really good doctor, so you should be in good hands." He said.

"I tried very hard. I am a doctor but more of a scientist. I just haven't practice in a hospital setting in a long time. I need to leave and go home back to Boston. I need home now." I replied.

"Well you look better and it was a privilege to be your doctor." He claims.

"Thank You, Dr. Scott. Oh, Is it alright to fly now?" I asked.

"Yes, it's fine but you need to check with Dr. Rumbade when you land." He stress.

"Okay I will do that."

"Thank you again Dr. Scott and goodbye."

"Goodbye Ms. De'Lay have a safe trip.

I close the door behind me. I walk to the waiting room. I meet Inui sitting there playing a game on his cell phone. I smiled at the sight. I'm gonna miss him terribly. I know this is the best. I have to leave, this is too much for me. Babas going to to be upset with me, we've gotten really close. But he's Soryu best friend I can't come between them. I here Inui calling out to me bringing me out of my thoughts.
