Chapter 10: Waiting

Rydel: I don't know what now. I guess we just wait for Ry.

Sarah: I'm so glad he's okay.

Ell: Me too. He's a brother to me.

Riker: Well he is my brother and I need him.

Rocky: He's the freaking manager.

Rydel: Yup.

(30 min later no info on Ry)

Riker: I'm going to check with the nurse. They should have told us we can go see him by now.

Sarah: Delly, do you think he's okay?

Rydel: Of course. Nothing is going to happ.....

Ross: Girls! Why does Riker look like that?

Rocky: (gets up and talks to Riker about something) (walks back with the same look) Um guys. Ry has a infection. And it's pretty serious.

Sarah: What? How?

Ross: It's okay.

Riker: (comes back) Guys the nurse said only a few of us can see what's going on.

Rydel: Boys you go. I'll stay here with Sarah.

Sarah: Thanks Delly but you don't have to do that.

Rydel: Yes I do. Your my sister.

Ross: Very sweet. Bye!

(Just Rydel and Sarah)

Sarah: I hope he's okay.

Rydel: He's going to be fine.

Sarah: Everyone was almost killed today. All because of me.

Rydel: It's not your fault. Rhianna is just jealous and won't move on.

Sarah: Haha. Thanks. But I'm still scared.

Rydel: He's going to be fine. We can't do anything. But wait.

(After waiting another 30 min. The boys haven't come back and no info)

Sarah: I can't wait any longer. If I keep waiting I'll die.

Rydel: Calm down. Everything is going to be fine (says confidently but inside is really scared)

Sarah: But Rydel.....,

Nurse: Ms. Rydel Lynch?

Rydel: Yes? (Stands up hopefully)

Nurse: We finally have news. Your brothers are fine. They are just waiting in another part of the building. But we are going to keep Ryland here for a few days to keep an eye on his infection.

Sarah: So he's okay?

Nurse: Yes. (Smiles and walks away)

Sarah and Rydel: (look at each other glad and hug each other crying)(then the boys come back)
