Chapter Two

Jakson smiles at me and opens the door. I stand there for a second and he looks inside. I walk inside and look around. The living room is filled with many beautiful objects. I look to my left and see a statue. I stop moving and kneel down to look at it. I reach out to touch it but Jakson reaches under my arms and lifts me up. "Rule number one, Amari, don't touch anything in this room except for the furniture!" I nod and look back at the beautiful statue. Jakson leads me to a spare room and points. "This will be your room. I will buy you more clothes tomorrow but for now all you will have is what your wearing and the dress in the wardrobe. I have a feeling it will be to big for you though."

He walks out and I open the closet and look at the dress. I pull it out and lay it on the ground. It is a beautiful shade of sky blue with a white bow around the centre. I pick it up and hold it in front of my body and see it is to big on my waist. I look through my wardrobe and find a box of sewing stuff. I don't know how I know how to sew but I did. I fixed the dress so it would fit me and I try it on. Just as I took my clothes off, Jakson opens the door. I blush and cover myself with the dress. He stares at me, looking up and down. He then snaps out of his trance and blushes. "A... Amari... I am really sorry" I try to smile and I turn around. "It's ok Dr... I mean... Jakson." I slip on the dress and turn back around. Jakson appears by my side and looks at the dress. "It looks good on you." I smile and he grabs my waist.

I look at Jakson, confusion spread across my face. He leans closer and I blush and try to turn away. He lets go and within seconds he was on the other side of the room. "I... I just came in to say I'm going to get stuff for tea... I... I'm sorry..." He bolts out of the room and I hear the front door slam shut.

I walk to my bed and sit on it. Gently rubbing my arm. I close my eyes as memories of my past life come back. Only memories about love though. I didn't understand what was going on but I think I do now.
