"H... Is... Comi... Afte... Ou... Miracl..."

"What?"

"He is... Comin... After you... Mira..."

"My father?"

"Ye... He is... Jammi... Th... signal... To... So I... Wouldn... Warn.... u"

"I've got to go. I have to protect Jakson!"

"Oh..."

I have no time to talk to him... I have to look after Jakson! I run to the kitchen to look for supplies. I don't turn the light on, I can see perfectly fine. I rummage through cupboards and find a first aid kit. I grab it and throw it on the bench. I look on top of the fridge, I know I saw him put a backpack up here. Ahh there it is. I grab it and throw it beside the first aid kit. "What are you doing?" Jakson had appeared behind me. "I was planning to take you... Umm... Camping..." I stuffed the first aid kit into the bag. "Can you do that a bit more quietly please?" I nod and he walks back to bed. I look in the cupboards. Potato chips, canned spaghetti, muesli bars and marshmallows. Good enough. I take it all out and stuff that in the bag and grab 2 large bottles of water.

I dash outside to see if I have time. No sign of dad. I should get him out of here as soon as I can.

"He is on his way!"

"The signal is fixed?"

"Yes... He doesn't know I warned you and if I was to warn you now it would be to late."

"Try and distract him for a few minutes... Please!"

I run back inside and grab a sleeping bag for Jakson. I toss the bags onto my back and go to wake up Jakson. "What do you want Amari?!" Jakson snapped. "We need to go... Now!" I pull at Jakson and he gives in. I snatch up a jacket of his and he gets dressed.

We run out of the house and I lead him to a field that I saw when I was flying around. We stop and I put his stuff down and set it up for him. I gather firewood and set up a place for a fire. Jakson falls asleep while I set up in the dark.

"Remember. Your hands are a weapon."

My hands are a weapon? I shrug and look at my hand. Can I create fire?

"Click your fingers!"

He is reading my thoughts isn't he? I frown and click my fingers. Sure enough my hand sets on fire, but it does not hurt. I light the fire and look at Jakson one more time before flying into the sky.
