The whistle blew, the match had started and there I was sitting on the bench, watching my team mates play, we got the kick off, and had some amazing attacking. The passing was outstanding. Then 20 minutes into the match, one of the Man City players slide tackled Wayne and injured him badly, he got a red card and got sent off. Wayne couldn't play anymore, they took him on a stretcher into the ambulance, the boss decided to put me on. I was so excited but very sad that my friend got hurt.

It was 25 minutes into the match, Man City scores with an exceptional goal. I started at the kick off with Schweinsteiger, he passed to, I dribbled the ball on the left wing passed all the defenders, passed the ball back to Schweinsteiger, who did a great chip to me, I headered the ball, it was going straight for the top left corner, it hit the back of the net, I had scored in my first match. I looked for my mum and my bro in the crowd, I spotted them standing up and cheering my name. Everyone was cheering my name, I was so happy. I looked at my boss, he had a huge smile on his face.

45 minutes had past and the whistle went for half time, my boss congratulated me and said I would be playing the rest of the match. I asked him how Wayne was, he said Wayne was in the hospital, his leg was hurt but luckily not broken, the doctor said he shouldn't play the next match, but he will recover soon. I was really sad that he couldn't play the match against Chelsea.

The next half had started and Man City started with the ball, they had some great passing but Schweinsteiger got the ball of them easily. He dribbled past all the defenders, it was one on one with him and the keeper, he shooted, it was a great shot but even an awesome save by the keeper. The score was still 1-1 and 75 minutes had passed, Man city got in on goal but the shot was high and wide. De gae passed the ball Matteo who then passed to me, a defender came charging at me, I did a rainbow flick and kept on running with the ball, I got into the box, played a simple pass to Schweinsteiger who then scored at 90 minutes. Man City got the kick off, but as the ball was played to the defenders, the whistle blew, we had won our first match of the Barclays Premier League and I had scored a goal, my mum and bro ran and came on the pitch and gave me a huge hug and lots of kisses. I was happy that they were proud of me. The boss came to me and said that next match I would remain on the bench and another sub will take Wayne's place. I was disappointed but still very proud of my achievement today.
