Kick Off|Book 1

Chapter 17

I had dinner and played Monopoly with mum, Joel and Isabella, Joel won. I suck at monopoly.

I woke up the next morning to find that the family wasn't in the house, I saw a note on the kitchen counter and read it, this is what it said:
Hi James,
We have gone to the shops, see you at lunch. Meet us at San Carlo for lunch at 12:30pm,
we have a sunrise for you.
Love u lots,
mum xoxo

Okay so I called Wayne and asked him if I could take the car, he said it was fine. So at the 12pm I left for San Carlo, I used the navigation. I arrived there at exactly 12:30pm and mum, Joel and Isabella were already there sitting at a table next to the window. I joined them.

I asked them what the surprise was. They told me they would show it to me after lunch. The restaurant had a wide range of food, but I ordered grilled fish and mash potatoes.

All I have to say is that it was Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum and one more thing YUM.

When we had payed the bill, mum blind folded me, she held my hand and took me somewhere. She took the blindfold of my eyes. In front of me was a brand new car, a Porsche, black in colour with leather seats, it was amazing, all I had ever dream of had come true, I gave mum a huge hug and said thanks to her. Wayne walked in the drive way of the restaurant, he said Joel you called for me to come and pick the car. Yes, I could drive the car, I was so excited.

I quickly tried to hop in the car, but before I could do that Joel grabbed my shirt and showed their new car, it was a Ferrari. A red one, Black leather seats and an amazing sound system. I was so proud that they had got a car that mum had always dreamed of having. But there was another think attached to it, a trailer, but inside the trailer was a brand new Kawasaki motorbike, green in colour. Joel then told me mum had bought it for him and he became recognised as a Motocross expert and would now have a team, the team was called Dirt Squad, there were 4 more people in his group, all boys and over the age of 20. I was so proud of him, I gave him a huge hug and said well done, all his hard work of training had finally paid off. But there was one more thing, a number 3 on the side of his bike. I smiled, he had got the number from my shirt.

We all went home, by now the time was 1.30pm. I quickly went with Wayne in my new car for training.
