Chapter 10

The whistle blew at West Brooms home grounds, they started with the ball and some amazing passing but Matteo slide tackled the striker and got the ball of him. But the ball was then taken of Matteo by one of the West Broom players. He dribbled up to the goal and scored when just 10 minutes had past, today was not Manchester Uniteds day said one of the commentators. I agree, it was not our day today. We started with the kick off, but the ball was taken by the striker of West Broom, he dribbled on the left wing and crossed it in, West Broom had scored again when 30 minutes had passed.

The boss was very disappointed in team, the whistle blew for half time and boss gave us a big lecture about shooting well and passing.

Boss said I wouldn't be put on.

We started with the kick off but are passing was not very coordinative and the West Broom striker got the ball and had a great shot from half line and scored, I don't what De Gae was doing.

The whistle went for the end of the match.

We had lost 0-3 and we are now second on the ladder, we have 10 points with Chelsea first who have 11 points and in third we have West Broom with 9 points.

We all met in the locker rooms for a meeting and the boss was not very proud of us. He told us the lineup for the match against Newcastle, this is it:

I was very surprised I was playing a full match, I quickly called my mum and told her, she was so excited. The boss came to me after the meeting and said that I had showed him I played well in the practice match, but if I'm not playing well on the day, he'll take me off. I said okay, I'll do my best.

After the match I and Wayne went out with my mum and Joel, we went for coffee, my mum told us that there was good news. The news was that Joel was getting married in 4 days, I quickly called boss and told him I couldn't be here for 4 weeks. Boss said it was fine but he said I will only be able to play for 3 weeks when I come back, I said I was fine for that. I was going back to Australia in 4 days to see the marriage and my family. I was so excited. I asked Wayne if he wanted to come, he said no because he had to keep on playing matches since he really wanted to win top scorer.

We went home after the coffee and my mum and Joel went to there hotel.

I and Wayne got home and rested for the rest of the day, had dinner and went to bed.
