Crack! Shit that was loud! Thought Ali as she stepped on the twig. Everything sounded so much louder when everything else was barely making a noise.

Stepping more carefully this time, Ali slowly made her way across the front lawn. Her mother and sister were usually up at 8 00. She looked at her watch.

"Shit!" she whispered quietly. It was already 8 50. She had ten minutes to unlock and get inside the house, make breakfast and change clothes because after hunting around for the clearing, she had gotten very dirty. Her mum may not pay much attention to her, but she would notice anything different about her clothes.

While thinking about this, Ali barely realized that she had made it to the door. After fumbling around with the key in the lock, she finally got inside the house.

First thing first. She had to go change then make breakfast. Bacon and eggs with toast for Sophia and her mother should do. She would just have vegemite on toast for her.

Ali sprinted silently into her room, changed into a clean clothes and sped into the kitchen to make breakfast.

Almost the second after Ali got the bacon and eggs out of the pan, her mum and Sophia walked into the kitchen.

"Aunt Georgina has some jobs for you to do today Ali."  Said Mrs Harrison with a smirk

Shit Shit Shit Shit Shit Shit Shit Shit

"In fact. I think she made a list."

"I remember a few things that were on it." Sophia said joining into the conversation. "There was cleaning the toilets, cleaning the pool, oh and feeding her dogs." She finished with a smirk.

Aunt Georgina has some horrible Pitt bulls. They are nasty and will take your hand off if you give them a chance.

Aunt Georgina decides to come in to the room.

"Oh hello Ali. Would you mind doing a few jobs for Me? Oh thank you dear." She says answering her own question and handing me a list.

I take it and head outside. Looking at it I see if there are any opportunities to sneak off. And there is. Aunt Georgina ordered something online and I have to go to the post office and collect it. Unable to wait to see the mare, I quickly grab my backpack already filled with brushes and jump on my bike and cycle to the post office as quickly as I can.
