Chapter 13

Octavia POV

A few weeks later I found myself at the lawyers office. Ross was acting like an ass. I rolled my eyes.

"Can I sue her for cheating?" Ross asked. I snorted.

"Ross, just give me my divorce. Playing dirty won't work," I said. Ross snorted.

"You know, I always knew that you were a cheater. You always said that they guys were just your friends while you were fucking them!" Ross spat. I got up and slapped him.

"Don't you dare talk to me that way! You cheated multiple times on me! Did I say something when pregnant women showed up at me fucking doorstep?" I yelled back.

For the first time I was this angry at Ross. I wanted to do more then slap him but my lawyer kept us apart. Angry I growled at him. Ross got up and pulled his suit straight.

"Wait until he cheats on you, let's see how you like that." I got up and looked at Ross.

"Unlike you, Joe has some loyalty in his body." Ross snorted.

"I am done with you." I smiled.

"Well then we both agree on something. Oh and by the way, get you damn stuff out of my house," I said. I took my purse and walked away.

No one disrespects me that way. Joe was waiting outside for me. He looked at me.

"How did it go?" Joe asked. I sighed.

"I'm not in the mood to talk now." Joe nodded.

We got into the car and drove back to the hotel. A nasty headache hit me. I laid in bed and sighed. Joe laid next to me.

"If you want to talk, let me know," Joe said. I looked at him.

"You know what they say, once a cheater always a cheater. Soon you are going to do the same thing I did with Ross." Joe frowned.

"Why would I cheat on you? You are here with me and you give me everything I need," Joe said. I shook my head.

"Soon I'm going to bore you out." Joe got up from the bed. He was angry.

"When you stop talking stupidity, let me know. I'm at Dean his hotel room." Joe left before I could say anything.

I laid alone in bed and started crying. Soon karma was going to get me really hard. I called Trinity to come to my room. It didn't take long for her to show up.

"What happened? You and Joe aren't separating right?" Trinity asked. I shook my head.

"No but after we came to the hotel, insecurity was kicking in and I said something stupid." Trinity laid next to me and stroked my hair.

"Tavia, you are my sister and I love you. The only thing I want is to see you happy. If that is with Ross, then I'm fine with that," Trinity said. I shook my head.

"I don't want Ross. When I threw away the wedding ring in Samoa, I felt so relieved." Trinity nodded.

"Then why are you worrying?" Trinity asked. I shrugged.

"What if he cheats on me Trin? I will get what's coming for me." Trinity shook her head.

"Joe loves you, he would never do that." I sighed.

I didn't know that but I trusted Joe. If he ever cheated on me, I don't know how I would react. Trinity looked at me.

"Now stop looking like that. Everything will turn out alright." I nodded.

I had to stop thinking negative but I couldn't help it. When I was sleeping with Joe, I didn't think about Ross but he cheated on me multiple times and he didn't think about me either. Trinity was right. Joe would never cheat on me, right?

Joe POV

Dean took me to a bar to get a few beers. I sat at the bar and sighed.

"Come on man, just go back and talk about it with her," Dean said. I shook my head.

"I can't believe that Octavia would think that about me. Did I do something to make her think like that?" Dean shrugged.

"I don't know but she is just worried now. Maybe you need to have a little talk with Ross." I looked at Dean. Sometimes I was happy with him as a friend.

"Maybe I should have a talk with him." Dean smirked. I took a sip of my beer.

That talk would end up in a fight and that was the last thing Octavia needed. But if he said something that made her think that way, I will kick his ass.
