Chapter Twelve

"Thats all I was going to say" I then felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and I knew it was from Nancy.

"What? Are you serious?! Lily this is amazing! How??? What am I saying who cares how, this is the best thing anyone has ever done for me! Your the greatest friend anyone can have!" Austin then came in for a hug but I took a step back.

"Its nothing really, you should tell your band mates so you can get ready. They'll be waiting for you, and here are your passes." As I started handing over the passes to him I noticed Roxy trying to reach for one.

"Sorry Roxy, I only have enough for the band. If I would have known you were coming I would have gotten you one too. Your gonna have to watch from the crowd."

After I told her that she gave me a really disgusting look and stormed away. Geez what a baby. Austin noticed that she stormed away too and he mouthed 'thanks' before going after her. I'm really starting to think that I should leave. I thought we were on a date, not just hanging out. I feel really embarrassed.

I turned to look for Nancy but she had already took off towards the festival. I pulled out my phone and read what she sent me.

Nancy: Lily this isn't right.. i thought you were on a date and  then this bimbo shows up?? you should talk to him an set this straight before you get hurt :/

She was right. I really did need to talk to him about this because I am so confused. As I looked up over towards the camp I seen Austin telling his band mates the good news and they were really excited. Roxy still looked mad but what I told her wasn't a lie. I honestly had no idea she would be here. I decided I would talk with him right after their set so that I would be able to talk to him before Roxy showed up. I thought it was a good plan since she wasn't able to get backstage. She might be sneaky though so I'm just going to text my parents assistant to make sure she won't be able to get backstage of their set at all. Just to be sure, you never know.

Lily: hey where did you go? lets meet up somewhere 

Nancy: ok lets just meet up by the bathrooms, there on the east side of the festival.

Just as I was about to leave to the campgrounds someone lightly grabbed my arm and turned me around. When I seen who grabbed me I didn't recognize him at all but he was cute.

"Hey your Lily right?"

"Yeah... Uh do I know you?"

"No sorry my names Phil, I'm part of the band Austin's in. I just wanted to say thanks for getting us this gig. It honestly means so much to me and the rest of the band like you have no idea!"

I couldn't help but smile because of how happy he looked, you could see the happiness and excitement in his smile and eyes.

"Its not a problem really, I owed Austin so I thought why not?"

"Awesome, Austin is lucky to have a friend like you. I'll see you around beautiful." he said with a wink a walked back to his group. Did he just... Did he just call me beautiful? I felt frozen in place. I could feel my heart beat a little faster and I knew my face was super red. I should leave before people start to stare. I started walking to the bathrooms now and all I could think about is Phil. Maybe Austin isn't the one. Maybe its Phil? I don't know, maybe its just a crush.. But you never know? Vaughn is still in the picture too though. How am I suppose to decide with such little time? I guess coming to the festival wasn't such a bad idea after all. Maybe it'll help a little.
