*Olivias POV*

I walked out in the parking lot to find Cole by my car. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion as I cautiously walked over there. He looked up and frowned.

"What are you doing here?" I said, emotionless.

"We're studying at your house."

"Uh, you can't just tell me-"

He then proceeded to open the car door and climb in the passenger seat. I rolled my eyes and walked to the other side.

*•*•*

We arrived in about 10 minutes in silence, we got out of the car and walked into my small, but comforting house. I unlocked the door and walked to the kitchen.

"What are you doing?" He said.

"I'm hungry, I want food." I said, rolling my eyes for what feels like the hundredth time today.

"Oh." Was all he said.

"... Do you want anything?" I asked, not wanting to be rude, even though he's a pain in the butt, you always have to treat guests with respect, moms words not mine.

"No thanks, but where is your bathroom?" He asked, looking down the hall.

"Upstairs, to the left, 2nd door down."

"okay, thanks." He scurried up the stairs while I walked into the living room.

Remembering my calculator is upstairs, which I will need to do my math, I walk to my room. As I walked by I noticed the bathroom door open, and it's empty. Curiously, I walked quieter to my room, but in the corner of my eyes, I see someone in Tyler's room.

"Uh, Cole?" I said quietly, but making him flinch and slam the cabinet shut.

"Um I..." He stuttered

"You know my brother?" I asked, curious he would know him.

"Yeah."

"You're friends with that loser?" I scoffed.

"No uh no, we are- uh- we just know each other." He said, nervously.

"Weird, he didn't seem to like you when he told me that-"

"What did he tell you about me?" He asked angrily, walking towards me, making me take a step back.

"Uh..."

"Tell me." He said, his voice cracking silently.

"He just told me to stay away from you."

He heaved a sigh.

"So what are you doing in here?" I asked, hoping for an answer.

"It's a long story."

"Well id rather hear that then doing homework. Lets go do-"

"What is he doing here Liv?" Tyler said walking into his room. Coles eyes widened slightly. Tyler turned back around and stared at Cole. "What are you doing, talking to my sister, De Angeles?" He said, narrowing his eyes.

"Nothing of your concern, Martin." Cole said, walking up to Tyler so their chests were almost touching.

"Olivia, go to your room." Tyler said sharply, not looking away from Cole.

"Uh..."

"Go." Cole said quietly, still staring at my brother.

I scurried into my room, curious as to what they are saying.

*Coles POV*

I heard Olivia shut her door and Tyler was the first to speak.

"So, what are you doing here exactly, in my room?" He said flatly.

"I'm not doing anything Tyler, drop it."

"I don't want you hanging around with my sister."

"Why's that?"

"You wouldn't want her to be next to Paige, would you? The ocean is pretty big..."

"You would do that to your own sister?" I said angrily, throwing my hands across my chest.

"Who said I would do it, Cole?" He said, smirking.

"You are such a cold hearted person." I said bitterly.

"It's not like your not." He said, eyes flashing full of hurt, then going back to deviously menacing.

My head started beating like crazy, not wanting him to say those words.

"Remember? That cold, December night?" He chuckled lightly.

"Don't say it." I said, closing my eyes and pulling at my hair.

"You killed yo-"

"You killed someone!?" Olivia said, walking into the room, making Tyler flinch.

"No I didn't." I said, narrowing my eyes at her brother.

"Oh but you did." Tyler said, smirking.

"Who?" Olivia said, quieter than before.

"You know I didn't mean to!" I said, my hands shaking with anger.

"That's not what your father thinks, now does he? He doesn't even give a fuck about you anymore now!" Tyler smiled deviously, knowing he won.

My head stopped beating, and my voice turned cold.

"I was only protecting them! I had no intentions on killing anyone!" I said, emotionless.

"Then why is she dead, Cole? Why is Paige dead?" He smiled once more, and chuckled again quietly. "I think we're done here, you can leave now." He said, waving me off.

"People never change, do they?" I said, bitterly.

"Tyler what has gotten into you!" Olivia said, knowing we forgot she was even there. I shook my head and walked out of the room.

"Don't think of ever coming back here, De Angeles."

"Not when your around." I mumbled.

I walked outside and slammed the door behind me. Getting in my car, I sped down the road, heading to Drew's house.

*Olivias POV*

He killed someone? My brothers voice kept replaying in my head.

If my brother knows that...

Do I even know who he really is anymore?
