*Olivias POV*

School is the place where many people dread to go to. In my opinion, I don't mind. It's for great educational purposes, and I could get far in life.

Soon, I woke up to be a 12th grader- or for most people may know as, Senior.

To say I'm not nervous is a complete lie. Everyone must know about what went down with Cole, my brother and I. Rumors obviously are spread throughout this small town and it's hard to keep a secret for long.

After what happened a couple weeks ago, I confronted my dad.

-- FLASH BACK --

"You sure you don't want me to come in?" Cole asked me, glancing up at the house. I shook my head.

"I'm fine, if I need help I'll come outside." I said, looking into his eyes. He nodded and I got out. I heaved a sigh and started my walk.

I walked up my driveway, looking at how dead it looked.

The grass is getting long, the curtains are all shut closed...

But all in all, it looked lifeless.

I opened the door and heaved a sigh, slowly walking in.

"Dad?" I called out.

Silence.

"Dad?" I tried again. I heard walking upstairs, and soon my dad came in front of me.

Now this is scary.

He had grown a beard while I was gone, and it looks like he hasn't taken a shower for a while.

"You're okay." He whispered his eyes wide. He reached out his arms out for a hug, which I rejected.

"Tell me the truth." I said, not looking at his face.

"Wh-"

"You know what I mean! Tell me the story!" I yelled at him, pushing him back a little, making him stumble.

"You may want to sit down..." He said, looking away. I furrowed my eyebrows at him and sat down on the love seat.

"Your grandfather was a bad man." He started off. "He did many things that were bad- dealt drugs, gang fights, robbery, and many other illegal stuff. When he got older, he met your grandmother." He looked away. "Your grandmother was married to your friend Drew's grandfather." My eyes widened. "That's why your grandfather had such a hatred to Drew's family, but Drew's family did the same things as ours. They both owned a gang, and soon made the North and South territories." He looked into my eyes. "He wanted me to be the new leader when he got old, but I declined. I didn't want this to happen anymore. Your brother soon found out, and took the role. Everything just went downhill from there." His eyes watered. "I'm just glad your alright. Please forgive me.." He asked hopefully.

"You don't have to be sorry.. You had nothing to do with it..." I whispered bringing him into a hug.

-- END OF FLASH BACK --

To say I'm grateful is absolutely true. My dad is still here, and I'm so happy.

"You ok?" Cole asked.

"I've been fine the 10 times you've asked me when you picked me up this morning." I said, rolling my eyes.

"I know..." He said, snaking an arm around my waist. "I'm just a concerned boyfriend ok?" He said, a grin creeping up on his face. I nodded, biting my lip.

I took in my surroundings and saw people staring at me. Well us.

Oh and plus we weren't a couple before summer. Aren't we just full of surprises?

I chuckled to myself as I said that in my head.

"What's so funny?" Cole asked, turning his head to face me with an amused face.

"Nothing." I said, shaking my head with a sly smile on my face. He nodded, still confused as we continued walking.

"I'm going to go find the boys, I'll see you first period?" He asked, already knowing the answer. I nodded as he smiled, leant in for a fast peck on the lips.

"See you soon." I said as he walked away.

I opened my locked, grabbing my text books and binders.

"Why would he date that?" I heard someone say behind me. I whipped my head around to see a group a girls walking by me, glaring. One hit my shoulder with hers- hard. I flung onto the lockers.

"Oops, sorry." She snarled, her voice full of sarcasm. I rolled my eyes and held back the tears stinging my eyes.

I closed my locker and started walking to first period.

'She's not even pretty.'

'Shes a nerd!'

'Who would love that?'

I shook my head from the tears. I'm not letting them get to me.

'Did they get paid to be her friend?'

'I bet she blackmailed them.'

'She doesn't even care about them.'

'Ugly.'

'Weird.'

'Freak.'

I couldn't take this.

I ran to a dark room and slammed the door close. I let the tears slide.

I'm a nobody.

I don't belong in this life.

Once the tears were held up, I took in my surroundings.

The library.

No one is here yet.

I walked to one of the couches and sat down, looking around.

Why me?

*Coles POV*

"Hey man!" Carson said as I sat next to him in first period. I looked around.

Where's Olivia?

"Have you seen Olivia?" I asked Alex, who was behind me.

"I saw her by her locker, but that's it. I turned around, then back at her and she was gone."

Crap.

"I'll be right back." I told them as I stood up.

"Mr. De Angeles! Class is about to start, sit." Mr. Aikins said.

"Bye Teach." I said, stalking out of the classroom. I looked around.

The hallways were empty.

Now were would my little smart girlfriend go?

Computer lab?

Lunch room?

Library?

The library.

I ran down the hallways, weaving in and out of the stray students in the hallway. One boy thought it would be funny to impress his friends and try to trip me. I jumped over his leg and halted. I walked up to the boy and slammed him into the lockers.

"What's your name, funny boy?" I whispered into his ear. He started shaking.

"P-Paul." He stuttered. I nodded.

"Now Paul, we seem to have a problem here. I'm in a bad mood, and you doing that just increased your chances of getting punched. Now, if I didn't have a girlfriend to find, I would freely kick your ass. But I need to go. Don't do this again. This is your warning." I snarled into his shaking figure. I pushed him into the lockers, and started jogging to the library.

* Olivias POV*

"Liv?" I heard someone whisper. I looked up and connected eyes with my boyfriend.

"Hi." I croaked out. His eyes widened as he walked closer to me. He squatted in front of me so his eyes were level to mine.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

Well isn't this a déjà vu moment.

My tears fell again. He wrapped his arms around me as I buried my head into his shirt.

"It's ok..." He whispered into my hair.

"Everyone hates me." I said, tears pooling out of my eyes.

"No they don't." He rejected.

"Yes!" I said, sitting up, looking into his eyes. "They think I'm ugly, no good, weird, that I shouldn't have you, that I don't care for you, that I'm a freak, a nerd..." I said, counting them off with my fingers.

"No." He said shaking his head. "No they don't. They're just jealous. They have nothing better to do in their lives then make up untrue bull crap." I looked down, hiding my face. "You shouldn't listen to them, because I know the truth. The truth is that you're the most beautiful girl I have ever laid eyes on, the girl I want to spend my time with, the girl I care about." He cupped my face so I was looking at him. "I love her so much, that I would do anything for her." He whispered. I smiled a little.

"All the boys care about you, and they love being your friend. They would do anything for you to feel better, and that is the most terrific thing I would want for your life." He looked down.

"You always bring a smile to our face and you never fail to amaze us; we never would want anything to happen to you, and if anyone hurts you, you tell any of us and we'll make sure they get a good kicking in the rear end." I chuckled.

"But all in all, you're perfect, just the way you are." He said. He leant in and soon, our lips were connected.

"I love you." He whispered into my ear.

"I love you, too." I replied.

And I do.
