The song for this chapter is My Love by Sia

(Leonardo's POV)

It felt good to sleep in my own bed, but somehow I didn't sleep as well I expected to. I tossed and turned the whole night, sleeping fitfully. Deep down, I knew it was partially the fact that Silvana was only sleeping about 15 feet away in the main room and it would be so easy to just sneak out there. . .

No. I would not be that kind of boy. Besides, I knew the main reason I wasn't sleeping the greatest was because there was a feeling of building tension in the pit of my stomach. I could feel something big was about to happen, I just hoped it didn't have to do with Shredder and his minions. It was only 9:20 AM, but I had given up trying to get some more shut eye, and decided to go and make myself some tea. Maybe I could talk to Master Splinter about what I was feeling if I saw him; he is usually up at this time for his morning meditation.

Walking into the kitchen, I was surprised to see Raph standing in the there, having a serious conversation with our father.

"Oh, good morning Leonardo," Master nodded to me, and I bowed respectfully.

"Good morning, sensei. Raph, what are you doing up?" it was peculiar, because he usually sleeps all day.

"Leo. . .we can't find Silvana anywhere," Raph said, refusing to meet my stare. He looked guilty.

"Did you drive her out?" I accused him of scaring her off.

"Leo, I know how you feel - how everyone here - feels for Silvana. I may be a jerk sometimes but I'm not that horrible of a brother, I would never cause you that pain. I didn't tell you right away because I was searching for her, and then I got Master Splinter to help because I didn't want to upset you," he said, actually sincere. W.O.W. That was the longest sequence of words I had ever heard Raph say at one time.

I took a deep breath, "Okay Sensei, what do you think about this?" I asked for his wisdom.

"I'm sorry Leonardo, but I cannot sense her within the vicinity, which most likely means she is at the surface," he sighed and his ears drooped in disappointment.

"Do you think she decided to take off the bandages and just bolt early?" I was pinching the bridge of my nose, trying to keep calm. Raph and Master Splinter just exchanged glances, which was code for 'yes, she was probably using us to heal herself and is now gone for good'. I knew this; I wasn't a fool.

"Well, we might as well wake Mikey and Donnie and tell them," I said, completely defeated.

---------------------------------------

"What do you mean she's gone?!?" Mikey wailed.

"Michelangelo, what Leonardo means, is that we will no longer be seeing any more of Silvana," our father touched Mikey's shoulder gently.

"How could she just. . .just leave?" Mikey was about to burst out into tears. This was a lot harder to deal with than I thought; I was trying to prevent my own flood gates from opening.

"I don't know, Mikey," I sighed. Raph hadn't made any accusations about her being a spy the whole morning, and he seemed genuinely upset that she was gone. Of course, Raph being Raph, he had to mask his sadness by getting angry and punching the wall, but better his anger is directed at the wall and not Silvana.

Donnie hadn't said anything the whole time, either. He just sat there, scratching his chin and staring off into space.

"Don? What do you think?" I asked the purple turtle.
