The reader is pregnant with a girl. I'm sorry I didn't make it more clear. XP
Ice cream. That thick, creamy, succulent, frozen treat. Just bursting with sweetness in every bite. And you couldn't get enough of it.
What started out as an occasional snack, had now turned into an unhealthy obsession.
So, there you were, sitting on the couch--watching some TV--after finishing a bowl of peanut butter and jelly ice cream, when Kise came through the door.
"Welcome home, Ryouta," you greeted as you noticed him holding a medium sized box.
"What's with the box?"
"Just something for the baby," he smiled as he placed the box on the coffee table in front of you and revealed a baby's mobile.
"Awe! It's so freaking cute!" you squealed.
You gaped at the little soft, adorable animals decorating it.
"I know, right. I spotted it, and I instantly thought of her," Ryouta noted right when your phone beeped.
"I got to go. Sarah's in the neighborhood," you blurted and hobbled yourself off the couch. And failed.
"You're getting messages sent to your phone for ice cream?" he queried.
He knitted his eyebrows in confusion as you finally heaved yourself off the couch.
"Yes. And to be honest, it's really disgusting," you stated, making your way to the door.
"Can I come?"
"No."
"Why not!?"
"Because you need to set that mobile up in the baby's nursery," you mentioned and pointed at the mobile that Kise was still holding in his hands.
"But that's not fair!" he whined whilst tears ran down his face.
"Suck it up, Buttercup. Life's not fair," you announced before shutting the door behind you.
