Chapter six

*3rd POV*

The next day, the (h/c) took Denzel and Marlene to 7th Heaven. On his way, he chose to ride to the abandoned church. Climbing off the bike, (M/n) walks into the church and walks towards the middle of the flower patch and takes out his phone. Sighing he dials the number. "Come on, answer the phone will you, Marlene and Denzel are losing faith in you... And I know, you have it as well." The (h/c) said while placing his other hand over his right side of his chest. "Reno informed me about what the others are planning, I have a plan in mind... You can't handle this on your own, remember that." With that said, (m/n) ends the phone call and places it in his back pocket.

Gazing up towards the hole in the ceiling, (m/n) clenches his jaw as a surge of pain shoots through his chest. Causing him to collapse to his knees as flashes of Sephiroth appear in front of his eyes. Walking around the figure stood in front of him. "Oh how I wished the day that I could see you on your knees in front of me." Sephiroth said as he smirks towards the (h/c).

Gritting his teeth, (m/n) gazes up with hate and pain towards his slightly younger Brother. "Don't think so highly of yourself brother..." (M/n) said as he slowly gets to his feet before continuing. "What do you want? If it's wanting to know where mother is, I do not know nor do I care where she is... I won't let you be reborn." The (h/c) said as he glares towards the silverette. Sephiroth punches the (h/c) and smirks. "You will not stop me brother, I will be reborn and we will destroy this planet like mother intended to do." Sephiroth said as he starts to fade. "I won't let that happen." (M/n) said before Sephiroth disappears.

Suddenly two steps of footsteps appear behind him. Turning around he notices Tifa and Marlene. "Sorry Clouds not here, I came looking for him but couldn't find him." The (h/c) said as Marlene greets him. Walking up towards the male and child, Tifa nods. "Thanks for trying." Tifa said while walking up to the chest to find bandages. "He is sick isn't he? And so are you?" Marlene questions the (h/c). Smiling softly at the little girl, (m/n) kneels down to her height. "Don't worry, we can wait here for Cloud if you want, Tifa you can stay too if you want." (M/n) said as he gazes at the woman who gazes softly at Marlene. "Thanks but I better get back to Denzel, is it alright if I leave Marlene with you?" Tifa asked as she slowly walks out. "Sure I don't mind." The (h/c) replied as Tifa leaves.

Smiling softly, Marlene takes a seat in the patch of flowers as the (h/c) follows her lead and watches her softly. "You'll get better right? And help Denzel, won't you (m/n)?" Marlene asks the (h/c) as she looks down towards her lap. "I'll do what I can Marlene, you have my word." (M/n) replied as he looks towards her and places a hand on top of her head and gently rubs her smiling gently.

While Marlene hums the door immediately bursts open as Loz walks in. "Want to play?... Guess not... Where's mother?" Loz asked as the (h/c) stands up and pushes Marlene behind him. "No one is here but if you want to play." (M/n) said while taking out his sword before continuing."let's play." And with that the fight began.

As the fight progresses with a final blow, Loz crashed into the wall. As the phone rings Loz answers while looking towards you and Marlene. "No it's not here... No I'm not crying... Alright I'll bring the girl." And with that said, Loz ends the phone call and the fight continues until Another jolt of pain shot through his chest and causes (m/n) to collapse, giving Loz the advantage of taking Marlene.

A few minutes later Cloud walks into the church only to see an unconscious (h/c). Rushing towards him, Cloud shakes him and begins to call his name. "(M/n)! (M/n)! Wake up!" The (h/c) jolts up awake and looks around. "Marlene! Damn it." (M/n) said while punching the ground. "What happened?" Cloud asks while placing a hand on the (h/c) shoulder. "Loz.. That bastard.. Probably took her while I was out..." (M/n) replied while slowly getting up. "We have to go... Now!" With that said the (h/c) said while walking out the church with Cloud only to catch him as he passes out and hands him to Reno and Rude before taking off again.

And soon something big is going to happen and it won't be pretty.
