*3rd POV*
Zack sits at the edge of the cliff gazing softly at the sky above him and he closes his eyes and remembers how he and (m/n) had first met.
-flashback-
Zack Fair had just returned from a mission and heard rumors of a male who was recruited into SOLDIER and immediately became a 2nd class SOLDIER because of his amazing abilities and fighting skills.
Wanting to meet this mysterious figure, Zack walks through the halls of Shin-Ra. Upon entering the training room he immediately takes notice of a tall well built (h/c) male beating up the two lower class SOLDIER's for starting trouble until they yielded. The mysterious (h/c) stood tall before taking his weapon which was leaning against the wall and placing it on his back and turning back to the lower class, the (h/c) male crosses his arms unamused "That is not how SOLDIER's are to act, you are all allies, comrades.. Not children, so act like it." The (h/c) says with a deep yet serious voice before turning around and walking away.
Zack, who had been watching, couldn't help but get a bit flustered at the sound of the males voice. He wanted to know the mysterious males name, and he would find it one way or another.
A few weeks of snooping through documents and asking his superiors, he found out the males name was (M/n) Akane, who lived in a small village but protected it alone when the village was being raided. Zack soon found out that (m/n) had taken them down single handily and was impressed and couldn't believe the male was a few years old then he was.
Two days later Zack sought (m/n) out and befriended him. At first (m/n) was hesitant but allowed it. That was the start of there friendship and the start of something that would soon blossom.
They soon became comrades on missions and fought along side each other. They were known as the second strongest team when being compared to Sephiroth, Angeal and Genesis. But what others failed to notice was the closer they got the more they started falling for each other.
"What are your dreams?" Zack asks (M/n) as they sit on the cliff giving them a view of the Shin-Ra building.(m/n) gazes softly at Zack before moving his gaze up towards the sky. "My dreams are to rid the world of fear and create freedom.. To fight for freedom for others and maybe one day.. Become a hero." (M/n) says with a soft smile on his lips and turns to Zack again. "Would you say.. I would become a hero one day?" (M/n) asks Zack as he turns his gaze to the sky. Being taken aback by (m/n)'s words Zack gazes at him. "I believe you and I would become hero's one day." With that said the males enjoy their day.
Not long after that day Zack started acting a bit more nervous yet flirtatious towards (m/n) and said male would be flirtatious back. One day though, had changed their lives for the good.
Zack had been talking with Cloud and helping him train to become a 1st class SOLDIER, when Cloud had noticed Zack stopped talking and staring at something. And curious, Cloud turn to where Zack was gazing only to be met with a shirtless (h/c) male training, not bothered with the sweat on his body nor bothered with the stares the (h/c) male ignore them but his gaze lands on Zack and waves at Zack before turning around, both Zack and Cloud notice the (h/c) males (s/c) 8 pack stomach glittering under the lights. Snapping out of it, Cloud realizes his superior's loving and longing gaze towards the (h/c), decided to help Zack with getting a chance with the (h/c).
A few attempts were futile, almost close to losing hope, (M/n) asks Zack to meet him by their special meeting place. Not long after training did Zack meet up with (M/n).
"Zack you've been acting different around me, what's wrong? Was it something I said or done?" (M/n) confesses to Zack. Zack swallows the lump in his throat before gazing up at the taller males (e/c) infused with mako eyes. "I'm sorry (m/n) but.. I can't take it anymore I really really like you a lot, God I sound like a-" Zack couldn't finish his sentence as the taller males lips pressed against his. The taller male had placed his arms around Zack's waist, pulling him closer. Zack slowly closes his eyes and returns the kiss, feeling the soft, gentle yet passionate and love in the kiss, while wrapping his arms around (m/n)'s neck. The taller male slowly pulls away breathing in much needed air. "You have no idea how long I've waited for you to say that, now I know it's not one sided." Said (m/n) before smiling lovingly towards Zack.
A week later, no one has caught their secret until an unlucky lower class SOLDIER walked into the simulator training room to find his two superior's making out and running away. Rumors started spread and none good ones. (M/n) was not phased in the slightest but was worried for Zack since he has been ignoring (m/n) for a long time. So (m/n) being (m/n) walked up to Zack and without a single word, threw him over his shoulder and walked to his room. Upon arriving, he walks in and locks the door behind him and throws the younger male to his bed and pins Zack to the bed underneath him. "Why the hell have you been ignoring me? I love you and yet your pushing me away when I try and reach out to you! Do you even love me?" Said (m/n) as he gazes at Zack with a look of hurt in his eyes. Zack looks up towards (m/n) and kisses him before pulling away. "I do love you, but I don't like what they are saying about us behind our backs." Zack says as he looks down ashamed. "I don't give a damn about what they say about us behind our backs because all that really matters is what you think about us. I love you with all my being and that will never change the way I feel about you." (M/n) said with so much anger yet honesty and sincerity towards the younger male."I'm sorry, I guess I took what they said to heart when I shouldn't have. I love you too." Said Zack as he he lays in his lovers arms.
Since that day, their bond had become even stronger and soon no one cared about them being together and moved on. The couple soon because 1st Class SOLDIER's that (m/n) ranked equal to Sephiroth and was soon his apprentice and Zack becoming Angeal's apprentice. Not long after had (m/n), Zack, cloud and Sephiroth found out the truth about Shin-Ra, Sephiroth had betrayed everyone and soon left seeking revenge. Zack, Cloud and (M/n) chose to create a secret group called AVALANCHE and destroy Shin-Ra for good. That same day Cloud had Defeated Sephiroth and later that same day, had lost their closest and strongest companion (M/n) Akane.
Until today....

Vincent: -walks out of the bathroom with just a towel around his waist while drying off his long hair- Veronica, what are you doing?
Veronica (Author): -blushes and looks away- Nothing just saying goodbye to the Readers before bed, I'll be there now.
Vincent: -nods and turns around to walk away but looks over his shoulder and smirks a little- By the way, you look adorable when you blush.
Veronica: -Covers face- Not funny Akane!!! (Deep red:Nickname) -turns back to the readers- Anyways if you enjoyed..

Vincent: -smirks a little more before throwing Author over his shoulder and walks to the door- Sorry but I'm going to borrow her for a bit. Goodbye.
