I picked up my Corinthian silver sword and walked silently into the woods. I saw a small fire and a figure with wings. But the weren't the steel tipped wings of a Defender they were thin and sleek like a Protecters. I got closer and saw it was a boy and looked about the age of most Defenders and Protecters. Then I stepped. CRACK. I had stepped on a twig . The figure ran I simply flew up and stood in front. I called Soari. With my mind she flew silently over. I might need some help I thought. Soari's voice had a way of calming everyone done. It was one of her gifts. She flew and told him who we were and we didn't want to hurt him. "I've heard that a lot my whole life and it's never been true!" He said. "Let me try" I said getting annoyed. Soari looked at me like I was crazy but she backed away and let me try. "If you want to see some one who will try and hurt you he's here. I've got him locked up in a shelter with a ton of alarms traps and no way to get past them unless your me." I said. "How did you make the traps?" He asked. "Duct tape rope and some ingenuity." I said. "Well duct tape can do about every thing." He said with a little laugh. "My name is Leo he said. "Mines Skye and this is Soari." I said then the alarm went off. I ran back to the shelter withe Leo and Soari in tow.
