Chapter 2

Sorry for the super late update, guys. It's just our school is bombarding us with exams. Hope you'll like this chap:). This chap and also the whole book actually is dedicated to a special sis who's really mad at me right now. Sorry MJ :(

Days zoomed past after that. 9th was hard and totally different than 8th. There wasn't much time for fooling around. It was always study, study, study.

Then one day in French class, our teacher, Miss Sera, told us "As we have the French day coming up in school, I'd like all of you to sing a few songs for the music festival"

There was a sudden outbreak in chatter. Everyone was excited. It was the first cultural program in the year.

She also added "Oh, and the alliance français is arranging a program in the mall in association with the music festival. Those who are interested can tell me during recess."

"Dude" John screamed at Ralph ."We should totally go, you, me and Ralf and anyone else who's willing! "

" What! Are you crazy! Just look at our homework for today. This is gonna take me ages to complete" Ralph groaned.

"we've been working like dogs for a month now, I think we deserve break guys" John countered.

"hey, you guys going for the concert? " Amy asked. Amy was one of the few tomboys we have. She plays basketball,drums and even likes watching baseball. She's also into music so that's why the question came.

Before Ralph could say anything, John jumped in" Yeah, we would love to! "

" Speak for yourself" Ralph
muttered.

"Didn't hear you, Ral, did you say something? " John asked, giving him the if-you-dare-reject-I'll-spill-your-secret look.

Ya, John had big time dirt on Ralph and though he had sworn not to blackmail him, sometimes he happens to.

So Ralph was helpless. It was very embarrassing stuff that John knew and he didn't wanna risk it. "count me in" he said unenthusiasticly.

"Great now we just need a song!" Amy exclaimed "Oh and I hope you don't mind Madison joining.

" Oh sure, she's got a nice voice" John agreed.

Who? Ralph wondered mentally I've never heard of a Madison in their class.

"Hey, Mad! " Amy called out to a girl standing by another desk with her back turned.

She turned around flinging her hair around. She had long blond tresses which were braided down her back. She was wearing a tight blue levis and a pink tank top. Her face looked like it's was carved out of pearl. She had sharp features and a cute smile.

Ralph's senses honed into her and blocked everything else out.
He saw her walk towards him that he didn't realise she was talking to him till John snapped his fingers under his nose and said "Wake up Ral, Mad asked you your name"

"Umm.. Hi I'm Ralph Matthew Joseph"

"Oh really? My name is Madison Joseph! Our surnames match! "

" Oh ya.. Wow what a coincidence" Ralph said trying to hide his nervousness.
John sensed it and said "OK then I'm going over to give our names to Miss Sera, Ralph wanna come along?"

"Ya sure" Ralph replied, relieved.
As he followed John to the teacher, he thought, I've never felt like this before. He thought smiling to himself, and I like the feeling.

OK guys tell me how u feel about the chap. Is it 2 rushed or is it 2 slow? Is it a filler or a dragger? Or does it just plain suck? :) pls comment
