The silence was almost deafening as the 3 of us awkwardly walked out to the car. (Shhh) Why did I agree to this? Oh yeah, because of Alice. And why did I agree with Alice? Oh yeah, she's my sister. Why did I agree with my sister, oh yeah, I'm stupid. I unlocked the car, but Alice immediately grabbed the keys out of my hands. "Hey! I drove here!" I argued, trying to get back the keys.

"Exactly, so I'll drive."

"But I'm nearly a year older than you!"

"Well you're still 16 like me so--"

"--Wait you guys are 16?!" Our bickering was interrupted by the guy, who seemed to tense up at us being 16. "Yeah. Got a problem with that Mate? Aren't you like 15?!" I asked, and Alice agreed with me. "What?! No! I'm 19." I was slightly shocked. This guy, Is 19, And looks my age, but he's 19... Suddenly I question if this was a good idea, even though he seems to be more scared of us than we are. But still, f*ck! Alice and I looked at each other, and she was trying to hide a smile.

"You're 19 and don't have any money?" Alice asked. "I call bullshit." "I swear! Here!" He took out his wallet and handed it to her, this guy is stupid we could just take his mon-- "holy shit he wasn't f*cking with us." I blurted out, his wallet contained his ID, drivers license, and a strip of paper with a phone number on it. "The fock is this?!" My sister asked, for some reason her accent seemed to 'thicken' a bit. His face turned red and he grabbed the strip of paper and wallet out of her hands.

"S-some girl gave it to me while I was getting of the plane." He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly as he stuffed the things in his pocket. This guy has barely been here for probably an hour or so and he already has a girl giving him their phone number?! Are you actually shitting me?! I've only had 3 girlfriends my whole life being here!! AND HE GETS A PHONE NUMBER ON THE PLAIN TO HERE?! Maybe it's just me but he doesn't look like a sex machine and definitely doesn't act like one. Or maybe it's because he's so awkward. Is that what chicks are into? 'F*ck if I know.

"Well, get in the car. You'll have to sit in back though." Alice grinned as she got in the car, closing the door behind her. I have been defeated. Since she took the drivers seat, I walked around and for in the passengers seat. There was an extremely loud "BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING" that must've been on full volume because it could make someone go deaf. I was startled and immediately gripped my seat and 'Jordan', am I even aloud to call a stranger by their name, was crawling inside the back seat and fell from being scared. "Shit! It's dad. Shhh!!!" Alice screeched, regaining her calmness and pressed answer on her phone.

"Hi dad! Why are you calling me? I thought you and Mum were-" and from the other side, all I heard was loud talking. Not yelling, just extremely loud talking. "Dad, I-" i couldn't figure out what he was saying from the other side, but Alice's face seemed to drop and she started biting her nails. "I-.... Fine.. I'll be home in.. 4 minutes...... Yeah bye." She hung up, dropping her phone in the cup holder, and she looked slightly mad.

"F**kin...Dad and Jessica are home early and freaking their tits off about us not being there. We have to go there. Now." Alice said. 'Jordan', jeez that feels weird to say, looked at us like we've gone mad. "Umm..--" "you might have to wait. Sorry. Don't flip though please because I kinda feel like keeping my temper." He immediately closed his mouth and went quiet as Alice started up the car.

"Where the hell were you guys?! You scared me!! I thought, I thought.." And my father immediately stopped talking as soon as his eyes landed on Jordan, who was awkwardly standing behind us. "Alice. Who is this?" He asked, you could definitely tell Jordan wasn't from around here just by the way he acted, so he obviously found it suspicious. Shit. ("He" is toms dad) "U-Umm.. This is, Uh-"

"He's a friend of mine! I-..We wanted to hang out so I thought we could hang out here!" I said, trying to plaster a fake smile on my face. I cringed at what I said. I hated lying about knowing someone. I hated lying to protect someone. But I had to admit, the guy was so helpless since we dragged him here, and Alice wasn't good at lying. He seemed to inspect my face, trying to see if there was a sign of anything suspicious. I just smirked, crossing my arms. 'Like I'm that stupid to let you know I'm lying.' I thought.

"Well then.. You two go up to Tom's room, Alice... We need to have a, discussion, about something." I could see Alice's face turn bright red as she messed with her ring and hung her head in shame. I grabbed Jordan and dragged him up the stairs, not wanting to stick around to get scolded by the monster he is. I slammed the door shut once we were in my room, and it was dark already. It was raining. Of course. There was an awkward-oh so awkward- silence accept for the rain hitting the window. Though, Jordan seemed more entertained by the rain than he was in anything else.

"What? You've never seen rain before?!" I asked sarcastically. "I have. But in LA, we don't get as much rain as we wish. It's been a while since we've gotten rain." Jordan said. Am I even aloud to call him that? I don't know him. We weren't formally introduced. Then again, he's in my house. "Uh--... Do you have a washroom (bathroom)?" He asked and I had to retrain myself from face-palming. "No shit. It's down the hall, second door to the left." I replied. This is a f**king house, not a hut in Venus. Well, I guess some people-- actually no, I'm pretty sure everyone has a bathroom, even if it doesn't work.

Suddenly, there was a loud "PING". Then another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. It was extremely annoying, but I didn't know where the sound was coming from. I got up and walked around. Whatever it was, I was going to break it. It wasn't the alarm clock, because that one wasn't set to any time. It wasn't my laptop, nor the T.V in this room. It wasn't even my phone!

When I noticed the sound getting louder as I moved in the direction towards my bed, I realized it wasn't something that was mine making that noise. A faint screen lit up through the thin fabric of Jordan's backpack, and every 5 seconds it was making noise. I shouldn't go through it, right? That's wrong. Right? But it's annoying. And in my room. But... F*ck it.

I unzipped the backpack carefully, but swiftly, praying that Jordan wouldn't come in here, freak out, call the cops, and me get my balls chopped off. Grabbing the phone, I looked at the screen and was slightly shocked by this;
