We were at my castle, I could tell Mal was getting nervous because she was squeezing my hand. "It's going to be fine, I promise."
This is her technically first time having dinner with us, as a family. "Welcome Mal" my mom told her, and I think she knew Mal was nervous. I think girls have some kind of Power, I don't know. My dad is still getting used to them here, so of course he said nothing. We walked in and I pulled Mal's seat out for her. The first couple minutes were very awkward and silent, but my mom broke the silence and said "So Mal, are you and your friends enjoying living here?"
"Oh yeah! Jay is still getting used to the no stealing, but we all love it here."
"Well that's nice to hear!"
I jumped into the conversation and said "She joined an art class, and the choir. She has amazing talents!" she started to blush.
"Thanks, but I'm not that good." She trailed off.
"You are a good singer! We heard you at Ben's coronation. Adam even said you had a great voice. And I would love to see your art."
"Thank you, but who's Adam?"
"My dad, only my family calls him that." I said
"Oh, well thank you-"
"You can call me Adam, you are like the family now." Wait did my dad say that?!

"Ok Adam." I was worried he wasn't going to like me, thank god he does. The rest of the dinner was great. We talked a lot after Adam let me call him Adam. After dinner, it started to storm, so they let me spend the night. It was the best night ever!
