Inside

The person that you thought you knew,

Isn't real,

He's just a fake,

Like icing covering a burnt cake.

Inside he is broken,

Inside he is torn,

Nothing but dangerous tangled up thorns,

What you see is like the calm before the storm,

Cause once that first lightning strikes,

It's as if the devil was born.

Hidden underneath is a demon,

A bloodthirsty monster just risen from hell,

Sent from the man with the horns and the tail,

If I didn't know any better,

I would say it was Satan himself.

But lucky for you,

You'll never have to see,

The demon I have,

Hidden in me,

The demon that can't wait to see you bleed.

Thank The Lord for giving me strength,

To be able to restrain this monster,

From causing harm everywhere,

Thank Him for making me stronger.

This beast I'm scared to release,

The beast that could kill the world,

You are able to feel relief,

Only because I've polished the outside,

And made it shine like an emerald.
