You kissed me

And it took me by surprise

I expected it

But I never thought it would feel the way it did

I started falling

But then you stopped

You pulled away

And so did I

I was put back on the ledge again

But then you did it again

And I hate how I loved it

And this time I fell

Right off that ledge

You didn't see me fall

So you didn't catch me

And in the end it hurts

Because I know you'll go back to her

You trail your lips down my neck

And this is something I won't regret

You kissed me again

And this time I kissed back

But just like that

It was over in a snap

I fell for you

But you didn't see

So you weren't there

To catch me
