A new generation
The rise of a new nation
We’re all walking travesties
Contradicting one another
Yet we feel we’re not to blame
When people die of thirst and famine
And yet we still complain
About everything we do not have
We have what we need
Anything more than that is garbage
You’d think that we would have learned
Physical things aren’t important
But we crave for things that we don’t have
We crave to have more
If only we would have realized
We only need one thing in life
We need love
From our family
From our friends
Love gives us the strength to start again
But you didn’t know this
This is what you crave
But eventually you’ll find
That love will give you the feeling of bliss
But beware
It may also drive you insane
