Prologue
Sabi nga sa isang kanta “That’s the way love goes it’s the truth that everyone knows. We’ve got a you and me personality you got it right.” (The Way Love Goes by Luigi Yotoko) Hindi naman talaga sa lahat ng oras, may ako at ikaw. Ibig kong sabihin, hindi palaging may taong parehong mahal ang isa’t isa. Ang madalas ngang nangyayare, isa mahal ang isa, tapos yung mahal niya may mahal na iba. Ang cliché noh? Pero ganon talaga. One sided love ang tawag don.
One sided love. Ano ba talaga ang totoong meaning nito? Uulitin ko yung sinabi ko, pero tama ba kung sasabihin ko na ang ibig sabihin nito ay may isang taong nagmamahal tapos yung mahal nya may mahal na iba? Tama ba? Kasi kung tama, hindi ba’t hindi na dapat love ang tawag dito? Mas maganda kung tatawagin mo yung tao ng ‘martyr’.
Ang puso hindi natuturuan na magmahal. Kung hindi ka talaga mahal, tanggapin mo na lang. Pero kung ipagpipilitan mo talaga na tuturuan mo sya, mas maganda na ipakita mo muna sa kanya yung pagmamahal mong yon. And konting distance siguro mga 1 week. Dun sa 1 week na yon, makakapag isip yung tao kung ano ba talaga ang worth mo. Sana lang marunong kang maghintay. Kasi hindi ganun kadali ang mag isip.
Pano malalaman kung nakapag isip na sya? Move mo na yun. Approach mo sya. Paramdam ka kahit 1 day lang. Pero pag naramdaman mong malamig pa sya, distance ka ulit and wait. Learn to wait. That’s a rule in love.
Hindi naman talaga ako naniniwala kay Cupid. Grabe naman kasi sya eh. ‘Papanain’ nya yung dalawang tao na mukhang mahihirapang mahalin ang isa’t isa. Lalo na kung may mahal na iba yung isa. Pero kadalasan, nagtatagumpay sya.
Sobrang mapaglaro ang tadhana to the point na, halos lahat ng tao na nakapalibot sa atin ay mahihirapan din. May iba pa nga na hindi natin alam, nasasaktan na din pala.
Mahirap magdesisyon lalo na kung FRIENDSHIP ang nakasalalay.
Lahat tayo for sure may best friend. Yung iba pa nga guy pa yung best friend. Sa mundo ng mag bebest friend, merong boy to boy, girl to girl at ang mas mahirap pasukin ay ang boy to girl/girl to boy.
Hindi maiiwasan na may masaktan, may mainlove pero bibihira ang mag best friend na nagkakatuluyan sa huli, at bibihira din ang mag best friend na nananatili lang sa mag best friend.
Honestly, ayoko talaga sa mga story na may mag best friend na nagkakainlove-an sa isa’t isa. Sa totoo lang, sinasabi nila na yun na yung simula ng mga magagandang bagay sa buhay nila. Geez, I’m so sick of those lines. Can’t they imagine things that will happen if the will continue their ‘LOVE’. Maybe they should have ‘LOVE’ but only as friends, best friends. Nothing more, nothing less. Can’t they also imagine that after entering their ‘relationship’, the friendship that they starts, will not be the same after they broke up.
How selfish love is right? It can also affect some other people around you. I wonder how some of us survive loving a person when there are a lot of people that are hurt. They are always thinking about themselves. That’s how selfish it is. They do everything for a person to make it fall in love to him. They can’t see the worth of others because their eyes are focused on the one they love, while the one they love can’t see the worth of that person. Because he/she is focused on others.
It is as simple as this:

In normal life, James loves Anne, while Anne is in love with Xander. Xander doesn’t love Anne because he loves Kate. Kate is Anne’s best friend, same as James and Xander. James is Xander’s best friend. How weird right? But sorry, it’s true. That’s life. Recorded on history.
