About Yourself: Well, I'm an Atlantic Canadian, currently a freshman in high school (Grade 10). Umm... I completed the three past years of French Immersion (plus grade 6 Intensive French) so I can understand and speak pretty well, and now I'm learning Spanish and Gaelic on my own (and Italian now, too). Writing is one of my passions, as I am planning to publish one, and hopefully more of my books in the future. Realistic drawing/painting, too, I enjoy, maybe a little too much at times, so I may go to an art school or something. Anyway, that's all I can think of really, so yeah. Peace out, rainbow trouts.
Your Artist Inspiration: My artist inspiration is Robert Bateman, a nature artist who paints and draws these amazingly realistic works of animals in their habitats. I've always been a big fan of his works and books, and I hope that one day I'll be able to draw as realistically as he does. Judy Larson, too, is one of my favourites. She draws realistically, but does really interesting things within the subject that is truly amazing. With digital art, I think Spirit Of Alaska and White Fire on DeviantArt are my inspiration because they can create such realistic, beautiful animals and scenes with digital tools.
What Influences Your Art: I know I draw mostly wolves and cats, but how they're drawn (their expressions, body language, etc) has a lot to do with my emotions and such. Say I'm angry; I'll end up drawing a snarling wolf, unsheathed claws on a cat, bloody scenes, and whatever else I can relate to as angry. So my emotions influence my art a lot, but just random thoughts might get jumbled in my head and I'll end up doodling a wolf in a tree or something odd. And then there's just seeing a random picture on the internet or seeing something and wanting to draw it or something similar to it.

Critiques: Nothing to serious to be honest! ^_^ But I would definitely like to see shading and lighting in a picture! That'd be awesome! :D
