-Logan's POV-
I debated whether to invite Dean or not, but I figured if I did he wouldn't lay off Selena. When I stepped out, the look on her face was priceless, her jaw looked like it wanted to drop, her eyes widened. I guess she didn't expect me to come, I rarley hung around my sister in public, we were more independent. Most people couldn't even tell that Ariana and I were siblings, we looked so different.
We started walking in an awkward silence. I kept my distance from Selena, it would be weird if my sister knew what I did to her, and what I plan to continue doing. As long as she wasn't my step sister yet I could resume messing with her as much as I wanted, and no one could stop me.
When we got to the beach Ari and Harry started making out. By looking at Selena's facial expression you could tell she planned on being a third wheel. She looked at them swallowing each other then looked at the ground, probably trying to avoid eye contact with me. It was weird how close my sister and my best friend were when they probably only been dating for a couple hours, if even. I thought maybe while they were getting it all on, it would give me a chance to play around with Selena.
I made my way over to her and smiled. "What brings you here?"
She lifted her head and shrugged.
"Why so shy?" I asked getting closer to her, making her step back a bit.
"I'm not being shy at all." She protested as she started to shake a bit from fear.
"Why are you shaking?"
"I-I'm not." Her face got red, but I wasn't sure why.
I raised an eyebrow at her. "You're scared of me, aren't you?" I stepped closer, towering over her.
"Logan, stop." She tried stepping back but I placed my hands on her shoulders, rubbing them slowly.
"I don't wanna." I started digging my nails into her skin and waited for her reaction.
"You're hurting me."
"Oh I'll show you the pain." I smirked before giving her a wink.
"What's going on?" Ariana asked as she broke apart from Harry.
Selena and I stepped away from each other quickly. "Nothing, just talking." I didn't have time to make up a better excuse.
Harry furrowed his eyebrow and grinned at us. "Do you guys like each other?"
I started laughing. "Me liking her? Yeah no thanks."
Selena looked a bit offended.
"Well you guys would be cute." Ariana jumped up and down smiling brightly as if she was imagining us together.
"Wanna go in the water?" Harry asked as he took off his shirt.
"You guys can," I said referring to him and Ari. "I'll take Selena up the the boardwalk." I turned over to Selena who seemed to be giving me a death stare.
"Okay!" Ariana said, running into the ocean with Harry.
Once they were further away Selena hit my arm with a hard force. "Logan!"
I wrapped my arm around her. "Time for us to have an enjoyable time."
I could feel her shaking in my arm once again, frightened. I found it cute when she was scared of me. I walked her up the boardwalk, and surprisingly, she didn't run away.
Once we got up there I wasn't sure what to do, and it was pretty obvious she didn't either. I thought whether we should actually do something fun, then she could fall hopelessly in love with me, but in the end I would break her heart. That's how all my relationships turned out, and I was okay with it.
