I wiped tears of mirth from my eyes as the Jokers walked off the stage. As per usual, the guys were hilarious. The crowd started to move and dissipate when I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. It was a text from Sal.

Sal: You should come back stage.

I looked at my dad.

"Sal wants me to come back stage," I told him.

"Then go, I might just go back to the hotel," my father said. "I'm getting a little tired."

"And you're just okay with me hanging out four guys?" I asked.

"Yea, you hung out with four guys last night," My dad replied. "You need to get out, socialize. You really seem to enjoy hanging out with them. Your happy and that makes me happy, but if you feel uncomfortable then you call me and I'll be there in a flash. I trust you."

I smiled at my dad. He hugged and kissed me, then turned and walked away. I stared at his retreating back, worried. I always worry when my dad is alone. I sighed and texted him back.

Me: omw.

I pushed my way through the crowd, trying to find a way to the back. I was small and easily pushed around. I ended up getting lost. Minutes went by and I was still trying to fight through the crowd. I screamed when someone suddenly grabbed my arm and lifted me up into their arms. I tried pushing myself away from whoever grabbed, struggling greatly, and attempting to use most of my strength.

"Would you quit?! It's me, Sal!" He exclaimed.

I stopped struggling and relaxed in his arms. I turned to look and sure enough, it was Sal.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"I figured you might have had a tough time getting through so I came to rescue you," Sal said.

"How chivalrous of you," I told him.

He chuckled and I wrapped my arms around his neck. I smiled. It felt nice to be in his arms, very safe.
