Alex's POV
Ok, so right now you are probably thinking "Oh, she is probably going to find the animals, free them, call the cops, the bad guys go to jail, it all ends happily ever after" right? Well, that would be what I'd do but we've got a minor issue here. I don't know where the animals are trapped! This is a big island, so this may take a while. I peek my head around one of their tents. They are sitting around a fire eating slightly burnt hotdogs without buns.
I hear my stomach growl. I don't know where to find food. Man! What if do right now for a hamburger, some fries, and a chocolate milkshake!
I start off into the woods in search of some food. As I'm walking, I see all sorts of animals you could only imagine! I see big green frogs with long tongues. I see tiny brown monkeys. There's all kinds of bugs. There is even a bunch of different kinds of hungry little squirrels looking for whatever kinds of little nuts here they have here.
I continue walking and I come across a muddy area with all these little worms on the ground. "That's what I'll eat!" I say to myself. They had taught us how to survive in the wilderness at boot camp as well. One of the things that they taught us how to do was fry worms.
I go find some sticks to put the worms on. I find three good, long, skinny sticks. I find some thick wood to build the fire. We secret agents always carry some flint and steel with us because you never know what kind of situation you might end up in. I get the fire going and get my worms on the sticks. I start to roast my worms. After they're done roasting, I think that they might need some salt for flavor. I could go down to the beach and get some of that salt water to let it evaporate. Then I could take the salt and put it on my worms... Nah. I'm too hungry to wait that long. I pinch my nose and quickly swallow the worms.
I start off into the forest to look for Floyd.
As I'm walking, I hear this strange flapping noise in the wind. I look around, but nobody is there. I continue walking. Then I hear it again, but softer this time. I go back to where I was a minute ago and sure enough, it's louder again. Then a white flap attached to a tree by sap caught my eye. There is something written on it. It's a note.
