Ken : " Yo Aaron, *yawn* brrr its freezing today..."

Aaron:   " aa.aa.a..yeah..." *its freezing because we are in January...but still good to know ken...*

another morning with ken... 

 "hey Aaron! AAAaaaarrrrooonnn!! "

"What ...eh? Oh sorry ken, I was looking in the shadow zone..Its really dark today, don't you think?"

"oh your right...anywayyyyy I was talking to you about this really cool cafe that open recently. I was thinking it would be really cool if we go and order some!" 

"yeah ..But not today, I have ....I ....Have ..umm.. ...PRACTICE!"

" . . .   And you know your not good at lying...*sight* when will you notice . Your just gonna go home and read a book dontcha! OKAY FINE I'LL GO ALONE" 

"AAH..Aaa.. Kenny... don't shout."

"FFFFINE , BUT PROMISE ME THAT YOU WILL GOOO WITH ME!!" 

"YES okay just be quiet..." *agh again he's forcing me to do weird stuff...*

Ken is my best friend since I was five years old, we've been in the same school, junior, and now in high-school. I am used to his annoying conduct, he does that because his family is in bad terms with shadows so he try's to hide it. He hates shadows and so do I. They kill people, hurt them and even take them to their shadow zones. Anyway they are bad. Thankfully no shadow can enter light houses at night. So we put up with that. 

I'll explain our situation, now that we are in high-school, shadows can be in a classroom with us...US.. that's why Ken is on a weird mood today. He fears shadows...Well, only privilege shadows can go to mixed schools with light people. Obviously there was a huge dispute between parents but the government said "YOU DO AS WE SAY" So here we are. Going to our first year on High-school. 

Well talking about school's, there are only allowed to be three to six shadows on each classroom. If there are too many shadows the possibility of killing a light, is really high. 

"Aaron...be carefull okay?"

"hm? Oh sure. Don't worry I'll be fine. "

While checking the list I found my name on class 1-A but kenny's name wasn't there...This is a problem...

"ken.." 

"I'LL BE FINE." *He looked at me with a relived smile...like if he didn't care..."

I guess Ken mature ...Wait.. that can't be true...

"Well I guess next year we will be together right? Oh, anyways how many shadows are in your class?"*He said it on a low voice so that no one turn to look at us...?* 

"eehh let me see...."" four- oh their five..." 

"FIVE?!? FIVE ARE A LOT!"

People stared to stare....I hate when they do that..

"SHshshssssshhhh ken...Lower your voice."

At that moment I felt a chill coming down my spine..was it the cold or...SHADOWS.. A group of five was coming to look at the list.. (btw shadows can cross zones in day if they have something covering their faces and body.)

Shadows communicate by whispering *I admire that about them...* I was wondering why four of the five shadows put one shadow in the middle...when one of them put in front of me like nothing and stared to read the list suddenly the one in the middle came up too and whisper something in the guy ear.. He suddenly...TALK TO ME..

Shadow: "Hey...will you please move to the other side?" 

THEY CAN TALK ?!? SINCE WHEN?? WHY ME?

*I stood their for three seconds then move to the side where I  notice that the shadow in the middle was a girl...* She is beautiful, more beautiful than any light girl i've ever seen... Wait..I HATE SHADOWS... is this some mistake? Why are my eyes glued to her??

Her eyes ...Ive seen them before but where?? A color so purple dark as a gem ..and hair as dark as the night...Where have I seen her????

"AARON !"

"Wwwhat?"

"Class? starting , we are late?!" 

". . .CLASS. . . "  * I am probably with those shadows in class....that shadow girl...*
