Peridot x Reader FanFiction

Chapter 4 - Party of 2

After a day of dealing with the normal customers at your job you finally got home to see that beautiful face of hers. You took the keys out of your car and decided to see what he had said over your shift.

"Plz reply."

"I still luv u"

"Plz don't leave"

Hm, he must be getting over it since usually your phone is crashing with text messages. You hate that guy. Well to dig deeper into that life was something you usual only did when you where confronted by police when he breaks and enters you home... His name was Axel. He was the reason you have a gun in your drawers and several locks on your front door. He was something that you wish you could cut from your life. He was the reason you fear for Peridot.... There it was again! You felt so differently for Peridot... almost an emotion that you couldn't name. Thinking of Peridot she was probably mad that you arrived home at 6:12. You opened your car door and walked up to your crimson door and twisted the handle. 

You glanced over at the couch and saw Peridot dozing off. Not really sleeping, but staring at the ceiling patiently. "Peri?" Her head perked up as soon as you began speaking. She looked at you and ran towards you with something in her hands.... She smiled at you and hugged you tightly. "I missed you so much..." She cried softly into your shoulder. You gently held onto the back of her head and embraced her. You looked down at her and slowly moved your hand to her face. Peridot looked up at you and smiled as you wiped away some of her tears. 

"I found this at your door!" She lifted a slightly opened envelope up to your face. Oh gosh of course its my Victorias Secret coupon! You grabbed the envelope and threw it over to the counter. 

As you ate your microwave meal you mentally prepared yourself for tonight. You were going to ask Peridot about her life and you were going to tell her about your life. You looked over at her as she was laying stomach down on the couch messing around with her "finger computer". 

"Hey Peri, I was wondering if maybe you would want to talk?" She glanced up and maybe it was the lighting but she appeared to have a slight blush. 

"Umm sure . About what?" She asked standing up and going to were you sat and wrapping her hands around your neck and slightly pecked your cheek. You blushed slightly and glanced over at her. She looked as if she was about to protest.. maybe make an excuse, but you quickly brought your face to hers and landed a soft kiss to her lips. It seemed forever before you released your mouth and slowly whispered to her.

"Us."

You sat on the couch with Peridot resting her head on the arm-rest and draping her legs across your lap. You begin the investigation with a simple question "Why are you here?"

"I-I was sent here on a mission to report something called a "cluster" but I crashed here and of course you took my gem well I was regenerating from the Impact." Peridot responded.

"Ok your turn." You beckoned as Peridot searched her mind.

"Why do humans think of aliens as monsters?" You could hear hurt in her voice.

"Well, I guess none of them have meet someone as amazing as you." You looked at her as she stroked her feet against your lap.

"Thank you (Y/N)...." Peridot looked over at you and smiled slightly.

"Well.... I would have to ask you... have you ever been in love with someone?" You asked slowly.

"Well... yes." She replied glancing at the corner of the room.

You stiffed slightly. "Who?" You asked with a bit of jealousy.

"Hey it's my turn!" Peridot  nipped at you and begin her next question.

"Do you love me?" Peridot blushed so hard she had to shut her eyelids forcefully. You lifted your body up and wedged yourself between her body and the couch. You wrapped an arm around her waist and kissed her cheek quickly.

"Of course I do... Your the best thing that ever happened in my dull life."

Peridot moved her body so that her face was next to yours and you were sharing the same air. After a few seconds, maybe a minute Peridot took your face and stuck her tongue in your mouth. You blushed furiously but closed your eyes and did the same with her. After a while she stopped and you whined a bit before cuddling with her for a while. Before you drifted into sleep you heard her whisper "I love you so much..."
