Hiccup and Astrid were a married couple. Hiccup worked at a huge law firm with 28 floors. Hiccup was working in his cubical when he heard a strange sound getting louder and louder. You see, he worked on level 20, he looked out the window and his eyes widened. He had no time to react, it was all too fast. With no time flat, a plane struck the 16th floor. Hiccup felt the place shake. Everyone went crazy. He ran to the phone and called his wife. "Astrid, if anything happens to me, I want you to know I love you so much and I want the best for you and Ava." "No Hiccup, please I'm this watching on TV, please. Don't go." A sudden boom hit the other firm on the side. It fell and hit Hiccups side. Everything shook. "HICCUP!!!!" Astrid screamed. Hiccup prayed for his family and ran down the stairs. "Help." He heard a small voice say. He saw a mother and father with their baby girl trapped. "I'll help you guys out-" "Take our baby and keep her safe." The mother coughed. "I will." He said covering the child with his arms. He ran down the stairs as fast as he could. He didn't stop. He saw a fireman. "Is this your child sir?" "Yes." Hiccup lied. "I need to go back please keep her safe." Hiccup said running to help his best friend, Heather. She and Tuffnut were stuck too. "HEATHER! TUFF!" He yelled. "WE'RE HERE!" Heather yelled. He helped them out but without knowing a ceiling fell on his left leg. "HICCUP!" Tuffnut yelled. They helped Hiccup out. Luckily they escaped. Hiccup was losing consciousness. "Tell Astrid-" he stopped.
He was taken to the hospital. The baby girl he saved was taken with him. Astrid couldn't take her eyes of the screen. "Oh Hiccup, please." She prayed her heart out. "Momma, whewe's daddy?" Her 1 year old daughter asked. "I don't know sweetie." Astrid sobbed. Hiccups parents went to see Astrid. "Astrid." Valka, Hiccups mom cried. "He's gone." Astrid cried. At that moment, Astrid got a phone call. "Astrid, Hiccups in the hospital." Heather said. "IM COMING!" She yelled grabbing her purse. "Valka, Stoick, can you watch Ava? Hiccups in the hospital." She said running off. "Yes sweetie." Valka smiled. "Thanks." Astrid got in her car and drove to the hospital. "I'm looking for Hiccup Haddock." Astrid told the desk. "What is your relationship with Mr.Haddock?" "I'm his wife, Astrid Haddock." She spoke. "Ah yes, he's in room 865." "Thank you." Astrid walked to that room and saw Hiccup. He was staring off to space. "Oh thank gods your ok." She sniffled hugging him. Hiccup cried. "What's wrong?" Astrid asked. "LOOK AT ME!" Hiccup yelled showing Astrid half his leg missing. "IM TERRIFYING!! LOOK AT ME IM A FREAK! I DON'T HAVE A LEG ASTRID! I LOOK HORRIBLE!! I HATE THIS!!!" Hiccup yelled. "Hiccup, your perfect, this makes you look heroic." "NO IM NOT ASTRID!" "Stop that!" Astrid shouted. "NO BECAUSE ITS TRUE!" He yelled back. "It's no big deal." She tried to reason. "YES IT IS!" "I THOUGHT I LOST YOU HICCUP! DO YOU KNOW HOW BAD THAT WAS!?!?!?!? I SOBBED LIKE CRAZY!" She broke down. "I LOVE YOU!" "I LOVE YOU TOO!" They yelled furiously at each other. They sealed the moment with a kiss. They both laughed. "We haven't changed a bit." Hiccup chuckled. "No not at all." Astrid giggled. "Astrid, I saved a baby girl, her parents died, can we keep her?" Hiccup pleaded. "Fine but where is she?" "In the room next door." He smiled. She saw the baby. "She's beautiful." Astrid carried her.
