The story of two lovebirds....

Chapter 1: The flashback.

"I knew we would make it. Our love wouldn't let us die. And it will never perish. I promise you."' said Pranjali. Vaibhav sat in the veranda pondering over his life. All was well till the catastrophe. He still felt dead. It was 6 weeks since the continental plates had shifted followed by the international storm which had plunged the world into a new ice age. Rescue operations had started in full swing. But the loss of life and property was something which couldn't be restored. July 28th' 2041, was the day everything happened. That day changed the life of many. The world population count came to about half its number. People from all across the globe were shocked. The UN tried their best to deliver help even in the remotest parts of the planet. Vaibhav had predicted this storm and the shifting of the plates more than a year ago. His research showed signs of massive terrestrial activity in the future. He used to work as the chief of the I. U. S. A. U. (International Union for Scientific  Analysis of the Universe) which he himself had founded. He had graduated in Computer Science from I. I. T. Powai and went on to earn his Ph.D degree in Geology and Astronomy from Pennsylvania State University. His keen interest to find out how the universe behaves made him start I. U. S. A. U. His idea was to find out how various activities take place in the space beyond our reach. He had succesfully managed to prove the existence of life in other galaxies. When the news of the catastrophe came to light, the world looked up to him as a saviour. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This was only a part of chapter 1. After their marriage, she became a member of the I. T. A. (International Teachers's association) and within two years she got selected promoted as the Chairperson of the Board. She had been to almost all the parts of the world, as a part of her job prescription, and had to repetitively give guidance lectures to primary teachers. This seemed to be quite a boring job but nonetheless she enjoyed what she did. As she always used to say, "Very few people get to do what they like to do." Vaibhav

who had then become the world famous scientist, was invited to the University to deliver a lecture on Thermo nuclear radioactivity. Before going onstage he was taken to meet the teaching staff at the university. This was exactly where his life changed. The first person, who's eyes met his eyes, was Pranjali. She was an avid fan of his research and used to read his blog and was an active member on his forum. Vaibhav was hypnotised by her charming beauty and couldn't take his eyes off her. He knew her as PTUsha97, which was her online name for her forum account. But he never expected this. He just couldn't stop thinking about her. So much to the extent that he made many hilarious errors during his lecture, making absurd statements that the sun revolves around the earth and that the stars are the satellites of the planets. He just couldn't get over the fact that he was in love with her.
