Nikki's POV
I was pacing back and forth in the emergency waiting room of the hospital. My mind was racing lighting fast as I had just received a call that my twin had somehow ended up here but the doctors didn't exactly know what happened to her. Just when I was about to lose my sanity, Joseph(Roman),Jon(Dean) and Colby(Seth) walked in and hugged me all at once. Just as Colby opened his mouth to ask a question, the doctor came out and said we could see Brianna now. The boys let me go in first considering she was my blood. I walked into the hospital room and immediately wanted to cry, my sister had bruises all over her. "I'm so, so sorry Brianna. I should've walked you back to you hotel room last with John. This is all my fault! What happened?" I asked on the verge of tears sitting beside her on a nearby chair.
"It's not your fault Nicole. I'm fine, don't blame yourself. I just fell down the stairs on my way back to my room." Brianna said softly looking towards her heartbroken sister.
"Fine!? You're fine!? Brianna you're covered in bruises, they're literally everywhere. There's no way you could've gotten like this from falling down stairs." I said looking at my sister knowing she was lying." What really happened? And where is Bryan?" I asked finding it odd my sister's husband wasn't at her side. For some reason when I said said Bryan's name Brie began crying really hard, and before I could figure out why the guys walked in. They had their mouths wide opened as soon as they saw Brie's bruised body.
Brie's POV
"Okay guys I get it I look pretty bad right now but close your mouths before flies come in." I said looking at the boys one at a time. They all quickly mumbled an apology except for Colby, he came closer to me and kissed my forehead.
"Who did this to you Brianna?" Colby whispered into my ear. Out of all the former shield members, I've always been particularly close to Colby.
"I just fell down some stairs...nothing major. You all know I'm a klutz." I said keeping up the lies. Nicole and Colby shared a look as they both didn't believe me. However they both also knew better than annoy me in the state I was in.
