What did you say?!

Seth's POV
Two hours ago, Stephanie had gotten a phone call that Brianna was being taken to a local hospital. Of course, I immediately sped over in my rental car as fast as possible and made my way to her room. I was currently sitting in a chair beside her, holding her hand as she was still unconscious. I glanced over to see her twin sister pacing the room still." Nicole, you've been doing that for nearly an hour now, just sit down. This is no one's fault but Daniel's, she's going to wake up any moment now." I said softly then turned my attention back to Brie as Nicole finally sat still. As I kept my fingers intertwined with Brianna's, I couldn't help but glance at the bruises on her body, while she had tried to cover them up earlier, they were now beginning to become visible due to the fact she'd been moved quite a bit. "Please wake up Brianna, you're safe now." I said softly, gently moving a piece of her brown hair off her face as a doctor walked in. Mine and Nicole's attention immediately went to the doctor." Are either of you family and/or the significant other of Brianna Monique Danielson?" He asked and Nicole nodded as I rolled my eyes at the mention of her last name." In her twin sister and he's practically family." She explained and the doctor nodded." Alright then, well Mrs.Danielson has sustained quite a few bruises along her body, however thankfully besides a bit of soreness and possibly scaring there's no future damage. She should be waking up any moment, however she'll more than likely be quite exhausted and will need plenty of bed rest. I'm going to recommend she takes a minimum of two weeks off from wrestling." The doctor said then exited the room as both myself and Nicole sighed in relief glad to hear the damage was minimal. "I need some air, I'll be right back." Nicole said softly and I nodded my attention fully on Brianna again. Once Nicole left the room, I kissed Brianna's forehead and her eyes suddenly shot open and she screamed at the top of her lungs." I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I didn't call them Daniel, I swear!" She said then immediately began to shake, clearly not realizing where she was as the doctor ran back in. I wrapped my arms around Brianna immediately." Shhh, it's okay Brianna. It's all over. You're safe now. I'm here. And Daniel's in jail. He can't hurt you anymore, he'll never be able to hurt you again." I said soothingly while holding her as close I could, she then immediately began sobbing hard into my chest." I'm so sorry." She said in between tears, she was crying so hard I could barely understand her." Shhh, just let it out. I'm right here. Get it all out." I kept repeating while holding her close, my free hand running through her hair in a comforting way as it didn't take long for my shirt to be completely soaked in tears, but I could care less. All that mattered is I had my angel in my arms. "We can sedate her so she'll calm down if you'd like." The doctor suggested and I shook my head then replied." It's alright, she's been through hell and back, she'll have to go through these emotions eventually. I'll keep her as calm as I can." My focus stayed solely on Brianna as she cried her heart out, five minutes later she sniffled with her head still buried in my chest." I'm so sorry.." She mumbled softly again." You have nothing to be sorry for, Brianna." I said confused as to why she kept apologizing now, but maybe she was just used to being blamed for everything.

Brie's POV
But I did have something to be sorry for, I had left him at the hotel room alone with no real explanation. I had my reasons of course, but I still felt guilty. Even after I ripped his heart out, here he was sitting in the hospital bed with me letting me cry my eyes out into his chest. Truthfully, I just wanted to stay like this forever. For the first time in weeks, I felt safe. I felt as if no one could harm me in his arms, which was partially true, Colby would die before he let someone harm me. Which was exactly why I left in the first place, but now I had to tell him the truth. I slowly lifted my head up from his chest and looked at him softly. My face covered in now dried tears, I glanced at his shirt which was now completely soaked." Thats two shirts I owe you now." I lightly joked and he softly laughed." I think you just want to see me shirtless is all." Colby teased causing me to blush slightly." Look Colby, we need to talk." I said softly and he nodded giving me his full attention." The night I left the hotel, I didn't leave because I wanted to, I left because.." Just as I was about to get into the real reason why I left that night, my twin sister walked through the room accompanied by the rest of the shield." Brianna!" Nicole exclaimed immediately running to me and hugging me tight causing me to flinch in pain and she immediately loosened her death hold." Sorry." She mumbled softly and I softly laughed." Don't worry about it Nicole, I'm happy to see you too." I said sincerely. "We have got to stop meeting here." I joked as Roman and Dean walked to the other side of my bed." I was about to say the same thing." Roman said softly laughing." Well stop ending up in hospitals and we gladly will, unless you want us to stop visiting you." Dean added faking a hurt look." Don't worry, I plan for this be the last time I'm in a hospital for a very long time, Dean." I replied then without thinking snuggled into Colby." Come on you two, we're in a public place." Nicole said playfully rolling her eyes and I shot her a look. "I'm not complaining, just warn me if you guys are about to have sex so I can get some popcorn." Dean said and both Nicole and Roman punched him in the arm and he mumbled loudly."What!" I immediately distanced myself a bit from Colby at the mention of sex and looked down, remembering what had occurred last night. Not that Colby was to blame for any of that, but thinking about that made me not want to be touched by anyone. I felt dirty, I then glanced at Colby who looked slightly hurt but also seemed to understand. That's when it dawned on me that he knew I had been raped by Daniel and yet he still wanted to touch me. He didn't see me as dirty or impure, he just saw me for me. Our eyes then met and smiled my first genuine smile for what seemed like weeks towards him." There's that beautiful smile I love." Colby said sweetly while smiling back at me." Well, we're going to leave you two love birds alone, we just wanted to check on you and leave you these." Roman said setting a vase of roses on my bedside table along with a teddy bear." Thank you, Ro'." I said softly and Dean fake coughed." Fine, thank you too Dean." I added and he smiled." No problem, Bri. Get well soon." He said then they both walked out the door after saying goodbye to Colby." I have to go as well, I'm so sorry but we were supposed to meet with our reps about Birdie Bee. One of us has to be there." Nicole said and I nodded giving her a quick hug, then she left too. Now it was just myself and Colby again. "You can um go ahead and hold me again if you'd like." I said softly after a few minutes of silence passed, a smile instantly appeared on Colby's face as he immediately gently pulled me towards him and wrapped his arms around me, then kissed my forehead." Hey now, I didn't say anything about kissing me." I teased." Oops, my lips slipped." He said innocently with a playful smirk on his lips." So now what did you want to tell me?" He asked looking down at me." The night at the hotel, I wanted to stay with you. I didn't want to leave." I admitted and he looked puzzled." Then why did you leave?" He asked running a hand gently through my hair." Remember when we walked into the hotel and my bags were already there and you saw me grab a note?" I said looking up at him with a soft expression. He nodded still looking confused before replying." Yeah, you said it was from Nicole saying Stephanie and Hunter got your bags from Daniel's room." I then broke eye contact before hiding my face in his chest again." Well uh I lied, it was really a note from Daniel. He basically said that he was still watching me and those around me aka you would get hurt. You didn't deserve to be brought into the mess I was in. You deserved happiness, you deserved better than me. So..I left." I admitted waiting for his reaction. He then suddenly got up and out of the bed, standing up as I sighed heavily." You mean, we could've fucking avoided all of this Brianna! You could've just fucking told me about the note and let me decide what I wanted. You broke my heart that night." Colby said not even looking at me anymore." You don't understand what he's capable of Colby. These bruises on my body, they're just a small glimpse of the horror I've seen. I refused to drag you into my world." I said calmly." That wasn't your goddamn call, Brianna!" Colby said raising his voice at me." I could've kept you safe from all this, I could've shown you how you deserved to be treated. I could've kept you happy and helped you enjoy life." He said turning to look at me, as tears began to run down my face." He pointed a damn gun at me on more than one occasion Colby, he didn't pull the trigger. But if the gun had been pointed at you, he wouldn't hesitate and I'll be damned if you die because of me. For heavens sake, Colby Lopez I didn't walk out that night wanting to break your heart. I walked out that night because I love you." I said practically shouting at him between my fits of sobbing. The room then suddenly feel silent as Colby got closer to me again." What did you just say?!" He asked wiping tears off my cheeks." I..I love you Colby." I said looking into your eyes and before I could blink, he leaned in and kissed me slowly and passionately and with zero hesitation I immediately kissed back. It was as if time stopped as we shared our first real kiss, he slowly pulled away a huge smile on his face." You have no idea how long I've been wanting to do that. I love you too, Brianna."
