Wait a second! What if he doesn't want me?! Emotion arose, some I didn't even know of. That big dude is my mate. I wonder what he looks like in human form. Probable HUGE! Well... he is an alpha.

Suddenly, another Lycan was about to strike. My teeth clenched into his spine hesitantly and it was ripped out.

The metallic taste of blood was absolutely despicable.

Suddenly, every Lycan in sight started backing up in surrender. I was right, my ears really did die because I barely noticed the large howl of his wolf. I think I'm in love with his power struck burst of pride and passion. I sound like a poet.

Who knows, maybe it's a hidden talent.

My alpha came strutting out with his large black wolf, five times the size of me, went out front of us. My mate (never going to get used to saying that) looked of authority and made closer contact with my alpha.

His deep silver eyes had me in awe. They looked at each other, nodded, and a series of bones cracking followed. They were in human form.

My mate was built... and I mean... built.

He had dark brown hair and the same silver eyes as when he was in wolf form. Although, the whole stark naked thing gave me the creeps.

"What do you want? Alpha Kade," my alpha, Dean, said through gritted teeth.

"Where is he?" 'Alpha Kade' responded, except with more venom.

"As I've said over the phone, I. Don't. Know."

Instead of giving an answer, another bark so loud came thrashing through the trees. His fellow pack members then trotted away like it was nothing.

Alpha Kade began walking off with them, until his head jerked backwards. I had almost forgot he was my mate. I'm an idiot.

Sniffing the air, his gaze slowly searched the crowd, scrutinizing every Lycan in sight.

The cold silver eyes landed on me, and that's when the facts were confirmed. He was mine.

But instead of rushing up to me and smiling, accepting me, he scowled. Alpha kade's high power made me whimper in fear and disappointment. "I'm bringing her with me," alpha Kade added hatefully.

This isn't going to be good, I thought.

Alpha Dean glanced at me and his bottom lip quivered, "What do you want with my pack member?"

"As I must know, she is my, mate," alpha Kade said mate as if it wasn't to be said, and illegal to even mention. I don't this isn't going to go how I planned.

"F-fine. Eden, shift and go with Kade,"

"Alpha Kade," Alpha Kade corrected through clenched jaws.

I gulped and did as my alpha said and shifted. Looking for my clothes I hid before this stuff happened, I threw them on.

My grey hoodie and black ripped skinny jeans and combat boots filled my body, looking as if I was goth. Suddenly, I looked over at alpha Kade, whom was glaring, I walk over to him.

As soon as my body was in a five feet radius from his, his hand clenched around my bicep, seeming to ignore the tingles that came with the touch.

"Ouch," the word slipped from my mouth when Kade took the way back and my foot hit a big root sticking out from the ground.

"Just shut the fuck up," Kade growled loudly. I just didn't talk after that.
