Camilia walked along the sidewalk.A few cars passed by her,birds were chirping,the flowers full of life.It made Camilia sick to her stomach.
She neared Town Hall.The white stone had been fading over the years,some of the white had even chipped off.Camilia sighed,slowly crossing the street.She climbed up the many stone stairs.Whith each step she heard multiple voices growing louder."Jason is okay,just be sure to give him his-"Camilia reached the top of the stairs,silencing the conversation.She looked around.The Mayor and four Nightgaurds were there."Ahh,Camilia.It has been a long time has it not."The Mayor said loudly,waving his hand slightly.Camilia looked down.She hasn't visited the Mayor sense Jason left,had he missed her.No,no one would ever miss Camilia.
The Nightgaurds left as soon as Camilia approached the Mayor.She looked at them from the corner if her eye."Weird.."She turned her head to the Mayor and gave him a big,fake smile."Good morning,Mayor."She said trying to sound cheerful."Camilia,it's very nice to see you after such a long time."The Mayor beamed.He wore a black suit,as if he had a special occasion to attend."Is Jason really back,I'd like to see him."The Mayors smile faded."Look in the back,in my office.."He said walking away.'What the hell..' Camilia walked to the back towards the office.His door was shut and Camilia reluctantly opened the door.Her eyes widened.Jason was home.His head was down in his hands,his brown hair a mess.
Camilia slowly walked to him,making a loud noise on one of the loose floorboards.Jasons head shot up.Camilia froze at his features.His right eye blackened,his lip busted,scratches on his arms and cheeks.Jason had been brought back home by force.
