I forced my eyes open to the sound of my ringing alarm. I rolled over to see what time it was. My clock read 7:02AM. I lazily rolled back over with a loud groan. Knowing my mum would would soon come charging in telling me to get up. I swung my legs of the side of my bed, mastering as much energy as possible, I reached for my phone to see if anyone had texted me (even though this rarely happened). Like I said said. No messages. However I saw a twitter notification, not thinking anything of it I put my phone back down. It was probably just another tweet from someone famous.

I went to the bathroom and freshened up before walking back into my room and sliding my school uniform on. I looked In the mirror to see if I look presentable. Considering it was now half 7, It was only normal for me to look the way I did. Not knowing what to do with my longish brunette hair; I shoved it up In a messy ponytail. After this I got my ribbon and hooked it around my hair band, tying it into a cute bouncy bow. I always wore my ribbon I thought it looked...different.

Not even attempting to try and fix my face I thought I'd go natural for the day, my hazel eyes looking swollen from my lack of sleep. I walked over to my dresser and slid some earrings Into my ears and went downstairs to make some breakfast. Since I always had my phone with me, I automatically picked it up even though I probably wouldn't even go on it.

I sat down on my kitchen island when my mum brought me a bowl of cornflakes. It was only me and my mum in the house, so it was never hectic in the mornings. I began to eat my cornflakes when my phone vibrated.

*hey Sydnie, I'm on my way to yours now, you dressed today? Mia x*

My friend Mia came to mine every morning and since I usually laid in, I normal was never dressed, , meaning what she said In the text. Knowing that she would be here soon since she only lived down the road from me, I decided not to reply, it used up too much energy.

I opened twitter and began scrolling, I clicked on my page when I saw my messages with a little blue "1" next to it, confused to who it could be, I opened it.

Did Jaden smith actually reply to my dm, and asked me to meet him? I rubbed my eyes and looked again. It was still there. I pinched my arm causing me to scream and for my mum to turn around and look at me, I gave her a quick smile before looking back down to my phone, when the doorbell rang.

I walked over and opened the door when Mia walked straight into my house saying "morning!" Causing my ears to ring. Some mornings my mum would give me and Mia a lift to school but sometimes we would walked.

Before I could even begin to process what Mia was saying, I looked back over to my phone.

"Mia I need to talk to you now"

"What's up Sydnie ?"

I grabbed her arm running upstairs and grabbing my phone on the way and leaving behind my half eaten bowl of cornflakes.

"I no you tell me everything. And your so lucky I'm telling you this, but you have to promise you won't tell anyone , I don't want anyone to know or get involved"

"Sydnie you know I wouldn't tell anyone! Spit it out already!"

I handed Mia my phone and watched to see what her reaction was. Her mouth dropped and her eyes widened as she looked up at me. I gave her a smile like it was no big deal but before I knew It Mia was jumping up and down screaming.
