"Grandma" I shouted quietly still holding Jon's hand "In here" she replied as I walked into the living room with Jon following slowly. "I've brought someone to see you" I told her as she carefully sat up, I smiled sympathetically at her when John stood besides me "Who's this your boyfriend" she joked as I laughed a little and Jon chuckled "No grandma, this is Jon my brother and your grandson" I replied seriously waiting for her reaction "Jon" she managed to croak out "That's me" he replied awkwardly "Come here love" she said as he stepped closer leaning down to her "Such a handsome man you have grown into, you and your sister have such gorgeous looks" she smiled as Jon smiled back with his eyes watering "I'm so sorry dear everyone thought you were crazy and I had to protect Alex" she said as tears fell from her eyes "You don't need to be sorry, you protected my sister and I am grateful for that" he told her now holding her hand as I stood there smiling sadly knowing this wont last forever. we all sat watching TV and eating takeaway and it felt as us three had lived together forever, Grandma was laughing and it was good to see her smile and I think Jon was just grateful to see her before it was too late. "Right I best be going" Jon said putting all the rubbish in the bin "Its so nice to finally have you back sweetheart" my grandma smiled as John replied "I feel like we have never been apart" he grinned "Come visit soon wont you" My grandma stated "Of course" he said as he bent down and hugged her as she kissed him on the head and I saw her whisper something in his ear. he nodded and replied something in a whisper and I was confused "Love you grandma" he said nearly crying as she replied sadly " Love you too my handsome grandson" she smiled as he walked to the door.

"I will walk you out" I said suspiciously "Thank you for letting me see her" he sadly told me "Its fine and what did she whisper to you" I asked curiously "She made me promise that I would look after you when she is gone, she said she knows she doesn't have long left and that we both mean a lot to her and that's she is sorry for leaving me" he replied as a tear escaped but he quickly whipped it away. "Oh" was all I managed to say as he hugged me before teleporting home. I returned to  the living room and pulled a blanket over my grandma who was dosing to sleep as tears fell from my cheek but this woman ment the word to me and I couldn't bare the thought of loosing her. "You are the most wonderful granddaughter any one could ever ask for and I love you so very much, I'm so proud of you" she smiled as I kissed her cheek and held her protectively in the hug "I love you grandma never forget that, get some rest and Jon was so happy he saw you" I smiled slightly "You are a breath of fresh air my lovely, goodnight god bless" she said before falling asleep as I lied beside her never wanting to leave her side, I wasn't ready to let go yet I sighed before silently crying myself to sleep.
