The rain was coming down like buckets ricocheting off bulletproof glass. In other words, it was loud, but hey, at least it drowned out my parents constant arguing downstairs. Nowadays, anything would cause a fight between my birth givers, it was almost a daily routine for them.
Even though the rain was doing a great job of drowning out the fight, I decided to listen to some music. You would think that a girl like me would have some friends to go out with on a Saturday night, but nah, they're too self absorbed with their own problems, which I totally understand. But hey, who can complain when you have a comfy ass bed and some jams?
Who am I kidding, my life is so boring, and so far If I continue this, my senior year is going to be so uneventful.
"Cmon Lana, develop that kickass, don't give a crud Margo attitude?" I said to myself.
(Paper Towns reference, if you know what I mean, shoot a comment down below!)
Whoop, there we go, I'm so lonely I'm talking to myself, way to go Lana. I was hungry, but I didn't feel like going downstairs and fixings self something. I decided to hit the sack early, and I drifted away with the voice of Tori Kelly and the constant patter of rain.
