I watched as Valentine stomped out of her home and into the woods, she was mumbling swear words and stomping on anything in her way. She was getting stronger, she punched a tree, denting the center, splinters of wood flying in the air. I wonder what she's so mad about.
I flew over her, watching closely.
"Damn you, Dawson! Damn you, Logan! And Damn you too, Mr. Pinkie!" She hissed to her stuffed pig. She jumped high in the air, at least 8 feet and grabbed a tree branch and flung herself up to the thickest branch and crawled to the hollow center of the tree. She sat, back hunched, eyes gold and narrowed, bottom lip pouted.
I flew closer and stood behind her, my wings folding into my back.
"Valentine," I said. "What's wrong?"
She froze and slowly turned her head. Her eyes were wide when she saw me. "L-Luce?!"
I chuckled and flew closer, then I blew the sleeping dust in her face. She fell on her back, sleeping. I felt my chest tighten, as I inhaled her scent, her blood made me growl with hunger. I crawled on top of her and slipped my finger under the choaker and tried to take it off of her. I noticed a bitemark on her neck, has Logan bitten her? Doesn't he know better that to sip the blood of a werewolf as a vampire?
"Actually, I do." I heard Logan's voice say.
I felt a foot kick me in my gut, lifting me off of Valentine and sending me flying into a tree wall.
"What the hell are you doing to my sister, Luce?" He growled, his eyes turned a blood red.
I stood, my wings aching against my back. "If I wanted to get some from her, I doubt I'd have to put her asleep to get it." I said.
I felt Logan's fist punch my jaw, twisting my neck and sending me flying off of the tree. I landed on the cold, moist ground. Logan stood over me, his foot on my chest.
"Give me one good reason why I should let you live." He growled.
I coughed, blood leaving my lips. Logan eyed it, his dead eyes hiding the hunger and lust he was filled with. "You know I'd never hurt Valentine." I said. "I-"
"Your an Inccubus, you hurt all women." He said.
"Not true." I said, "I didn't hurt Zoe."
He froze at his sister's name.
"You know I didn't. Eugene did." I coughed out.
"Yeah, but your a Dubane, you work for Eugene."
"Correction: I used to be a Dubane, I used to work for Eugene." I said, standing, my legs wobbling and my face throbbing.
"Well, if you weren't doing Eugene's dirty work, then what the hell we're just doing with my sister?!"
"I was trying to take off that choaker." I said.
"You can't, you fucktard! Only the Castin that made it can!"
"Is that so?" I blushed furiously.
Logan sighed, his eyes returning to the ice blue. "Whatever." He jumped onto the tree where Valentine slept and then grabbed her and jumped back down. He started to walk back to the house, I followed.
"Hey, what the hell! Stop following me!" He hissed.
"Cmon, I don't mean any harm! I just want to help out. I wanna take down The Dubane just as bad as you!"
Logan stopped walking and turned to me. "Why?"
"Because Eugene...he said that I can't... well he found out my secret..." I said.
"Which was...?"
I whispered my secret in his ear, then he inspected me and smirked. "If I find out that your lying I'll kill you." His sweet, deep voice boomed.
"I'm not! I promise !" I said.
Logan continued his walk, I followed. "We'll see." He said.
