For this task, we had to do the interview. Enjoy :)

The bitter smell of perfume slammed into Sartan's nose long before he was even on the stage. The interviews were about to start and his was going to be first. He despised the idea of being on camera. Just like you despise the idea of the Games, a voice deep inside him whispered. He tried to ignore it.

He just wanted to be in the arena to kill, and win. That was it.

"Ladies and gentlemen, introducing the District One Male Tribute, Sartan Rhathone!" The crowd erupted into cheering. The sounds bounced and echoed around the room, telling him that the entrance to the stage was just in front of him, and that there were thirty steps until the stage dropped off.

He waited until he had walked twenty-five steps, before he turned. The cheering was still scattering around the stone walls of the room, but something was different.

There were four chairs in the room, not one.

Sartan frowned and stepped forward.

"Sartan! Please, have a seat," the host said. Her voice was high-pitched, making his ears ring.

He promptly took a seat, getting a few "ooh's" from the audience.

"Today, we are joined by the other Gamemakers, who will be interviewing you as well!" Cherry, the host, announced. Once again, the crowd cheered and yelled, giving Sartan a headache.

"Well, Sartan, let's get right down to things! Tell us about your blindness," Cherry said.

"I'm blind. What about it?"

Cherry faked a laugh, as if he had told some sort of joke.

"Were you born that way?" Cherry asked.

"No."

"How did it happen?" This woman's voice was less high-pitched, and as Sartan flicked his thumb and index finger together, he could tell she was tall. Must be Tess, he thought.

"It was an accident." Sartan's voice was short and clipped.

"An accident, huh? Tell us more," a new woman's voice said eagerly. The only other woman Gamemaker was Raina Denverview.

Sartan shrugged. "There's nothing more to tell. It was an accident."

"You're a little closed off, huh?" Cherry asked with a chuckle.

Sartan didn't reply.

"Well... how is it that you manage to walk around on your own? It's impressive." A man cleared his throat, and Sartan remembered that his name was Caesar Brook.

"Just because I'm blind doesn't mean my other senses don't work," Sartan replied matter-of-factly.

"But how do you do it, Sartan? I must say, I'm quite impressed," Raina said.

With a sarcastic grin, Sartan tapped his fingers together. "I can tell you're dressed much more simply than Tess and Cherry. I'm guessing you like things much more simply, don't you?"

Raina oohed. "My, my, you really do intrigue me."

Sartan casually leaned back in his seat. "Frankly, you're much more beautiful than either of them as well. I always have preferred brunettes to blondes."

Raina laughed along with Caesar and the audience. Cherry's breathing had increased, and Sartan could hear her squeezing her hands together. Tess simply chuckled along, as if he had been joking.
