So I know it's been a while and I apologize for my absence. I just kinda lost interest in this book and felt like it wasn't what I wanted it to be. I'm trying to come back though and figure it all out. Be looking for new updates soon. Love you all, xoxo.

Paige's P.O.V

Christmas Day. I've never experienced it before, well not like this.

Presents were stacked ceiling high around the tree that was strung with lights and ornaments. We had all been awoken early to open them. Trash was everywhere from the wrapping paper, but there wasn't a person in the room without a smile.

I had already gotten so many presents, and still had boxes to open. It was so crazy, I have never seen so many expensive gifts. I feel guilty for getting so much stuff, but I want to be polite and tell everyone how much I appreciate the gift.

Once I get to the last box in my pile I read the name tag and see that it's from Perrie. When I tear into the box my breath is taken away. In front of me is a black Celine purse. One that I happen to be dying to have but never expected to get it, since it is beyond expensive. I never even told anyone about it, I wonder how she knew.

"Perrie, this is too much." I tell her, not sure what to do but be shocked.

"No it isn't. I could tell you really wanted that so now you have it." She says, shaking her head.

"Thank you so much." I hug her tightly.

"It was from Zayn to. He's the one that really thought you wanted it." She whispers in my ear.

"Thank you too, Zayn." I smile, but hold off on the hug.

"Your welcome love." He says, not really expecting much.

I return back to Harry and watch as everyone else finishes opening their gifts. Once everyone is done, the moms go to the kitchen to prepare the Christmas dinner while the rest of us get trash bags and bag up all the wrapping paper.

I gather all my gifts and carry them up the stairs, dropping them in my bedroom. I find my phone and text Brooklyn a Merry Christmas before going back down to help clean up. Harry suggest we all watch a Christmas movie in the den while we wait for diner, and no one obliges. As we pile around the large television, wrapped beneath blankets, Harry pops in a movie.

I lay my head on Harry's lap as he scratches my back. Halfway through the movie my eyes start to get droopy until a vibrating on my cheek startles me. I sit up so Harry can reach his phone out of his pocket. He makes an odd face as he looks at the screen and stands up.

Harry's P.O.V.

"Hello Karen, how are you?" I say, bewildered by the fact she's calling.

I don't mind it at all, I just don't know why.

"I'm good darling, however I would like to speak with about something. It's quite important." She sighs.

"Yes, of course. I can meet you now?" I say questionably.

"No, no. It's Christmas Day and I'm sure your spending time with your family and friends so I would hate to pull you away. If you don't mind stopping by the library tomorrow sometime, I would appreciate it though." She politely says.

"No problem. Merry Christmas." I smile into the phone as I pull it off my ear and press the red end button.

Curiosity circulating wildly through my brain the whole time.

My body guards stand close by as I knock on the door to the library. This town is creepy and knowing how close Paige's parents are frighten me.

"Good morning Harry." Karen smiles, embracing me in a hug.

"Nice to see you again, Karen." I say.

"Come in and sit down over here." She directs me to a small table.

"What has you so worried?" I jump right in to asking the question.

"I saw the video that you guys did for Christmas. I want you to watch it with me." She says, scooting her chair closer so we can both see the laptop.

I watch half heartedly, I hate watching myself on videos. I just think I look so weird.

"Watch Paige closely. See what she's doing with her hands, she only does that when she's scared or feels like she's in danger." She says, causing me to watch Paige intently and I see exactly what she's talking about.

"You know I trusted you with Paige, and I still do trust you, but please tell me what's going on."

I sigh and tell her everything. All the Zayn drama and she listens, her facial expression not changing once.

"Paige isn't the type to complain or show that she's scared so sometimes you just have to infer and be a parent." She says.

"I understand. I'll do better." I promise her.

"I know you will sweetie." She smiles.

I stick my hands into my pockets and feel the box inside. "Oh yeah, Paige wanted to get you this." I say pulling out the small black box and slide it over to her.

She opens the box to reveal the beautiful diamond earrings inside.

"Thank you so much." She smiles. Her face truly admiring and her eyes glaze over.

"I'll let Paige know you liked them." I say.

She sends me off with a hug and I can't help but think about Paige. I should've known.

The drive back home seemed short. The house seemed full of joy. Everyone was so happy to be with their family. I looked around for Paige but couldn't seem to spot her. I figured she was probably playing basketball. My thoughts were confirmed when I looked through the doors and saw her inside shooting around.

"Hey, Paige. What's going on?" I ask, stepping inside the indoor court.

"Nothing, just shooting." She grinned.

"Why aren't you visiting with family?" I ask her.

"I don't know, it just got kinda crowded and I needed a breath." She shrugs.

"Okay then." I say leaving her alone.

I wander back upstairs and change into a pair of sweats before heading back downstairs.

My mind was full and I had no clue what I was going to do with all this drama.
