Jen's POV:

As soon as Ryan's hands fly up to his eyes to try to rub the cologne away, I turn around and fly down the stairs, the cologne bottle still in my hand.

'Don't fall. Don't fall. Don't fall' I tell myself. Thankfully I make it down the stairs and I run to the front door directly in front of me. There are at least three locks on it, so I start with the bolt lock. I stand on my tip toes and am able to slide the bolt to the right. Two more locks to go.

I hear multiple pairs of footsteps behind me, and I turn around to see Will about three yards away from me, and Ryan coming down the stairs. I immediately throw the cologne bottle at Will, and it hits his shoulder but still continues to bounce over him, shattering behind him.

"Jen, stop!" he yells and I turn around and rotate the lock above the door knob. One more to go.

As I'm about to undo the last lock a pair of strong arms wrap around me.

"Noooo!" I voice a yell that turns into a shriek.

My legs are no longer on the ground and I'm holding onto the door knob with only one hand.

"Let go Jen!" I hear from Will who's trying to pull me away from the door.

My hand slips and the lack of force pulling Will towards the door makes him slip and fall in the other direction, me falling down on top of him. Ryan is now at the bottom of the stairs and is running towards us.

I spot the shattered glass to my right and immediately lunge for a piece.

"Gotcha" I hear Ryan's low voice say just as I grab a piece of glass and feel his arms wrap around me.

I twist around with my arm aiming to stab Ryan's neck, but unfortunately I get him on the side of his bicep.

"Damn it! Will, open the basement door!" Ryan yells.

Will scrambles up and runs to the basement door which is right under the flight of stairs leading to the second story of the house. He throws it open and Ryan drags me to the door I first ran to when I entered his house for the first time. With one push from Ryan, I'm tumbling down the stairs- limbs, head, and torso hitting the stairs at forceful blows.

Once I'm on solid ground I hear the door slam shut and the click of a lock.

I'm now alone, surrounded by the cold and darkness of Ryan's basement.
