Chapter 55

Tom's Pov

Jordan's grip on my hand tightens. "I never liked you two. From the second Andor mentioned you I knew you'd be nothin' but trouble." Helgrind says with nothing but pure anger in his tone.

"YOU RUINED-" I quickly cover Jordan's ears knowing what Helgrind was about to yell would've killed him.

The whole town begins to turn to dust. We're gonna die if we don't leave.

"JORDAN WHERE'S THE CHEST!" Sonja yells and I remove my hands from Jordan's ears.

Jordan doesn't answer he just blankly stares. "J-"

"I herd....." Jordan says as he glances up at me. "It's not worth it...." He mumbles looking back at the sand that is quickly falling.

"If I don't get my god back...." Jordan looks into my eyes and I instantly feel my heart begin to break.

"Neither does Mot."

"TOM DO SOMETHING!" Sonja panics. My eyes go everywhere looked for the first chest. Our time is ticking away.

I spot a diamond chest at the top of a building. Then a gold next to a bench.

"Jordan!" I say and try to get him to look at me. "Jordan! We gotta go! We'll die if we stay here!"

"Oh well. My families dead because of me an-"

"Think about Andor Jordan! You promised him you'd come home! You promised Mot you'd revive Dianite!" I shout.

Something seems to click in Jordan. He pulls from my grasp and runs towards the gold chest.

"TUCKER SECOND HOUSE TO THE RIGHT, LED CHEST!" He shouts as he tucks a small blueish gem into his pocket.

I run to Sonja who seems horrified. "Tom." She whispers, tears in her eyes. "Are we gonna die." Her hazel eyes are big and tearfilled. Seeing her like this hurts.....

"No Sonja. We're gonna get out of here." I pause and take her hand in mine. "Come on let's go get that horcrux." She smiles before running with me into the diamond chest house.

Once we reach the top it seems to just stop. Sonja looks around the small attic we're in now. I spot a small opening in ceiling, that must lead to the roof.

"Sonja come here." I say and she obeys. "I'm gonna lift you through that hole and you get the chest. K?" She nods.

In once swift movement I boost Sonja onto the roof. After a moment of silence I hear the chest open.

"Tom look out." Sonja says before jumping back down.

"Let's go find Jordan and Tucker."

Jordan's Pov

"Benjamin!" Martha giggles as she plays with her and Steve's beautiful baby boy.

They could've had this. "Spark!" Her voice yells. I watch as Ianite throws herself into Spark's arms.

This is a test. We've beaten 2 as of now. One was killing a loved one to proceed and two was the nightmare of a loved one.

"Jordan let's go!" Tucker shouts at me. I do as he orders and run back to the group.

"We've found a total of four horcruxs items." Tom says quickly. "Jordan's interloper, my hoe, Sonja's boots (RIP Wag), and Tucker's sword."

A portal appears just in front of us. "One more guys. We can do this." Sonja says and links hands with Tucker which causes a chain reaction. Once we're all holding hands we jump.
