The Fight Pt. II

Nate's POV

Nicky was standing there with guilt in her eyes, I just looked up at her and looked back at the billion tissues on the bed, God I feel like a teenage girl just finishing The Notebook. "Nate bab-" "Please don't, I'm hurt enough." I gritted my teeth, anger flowing through me. "Nate I have to talk to you." Nicky says as she looks to the ground. "WHAT YOU THINK IM JUST A TOY? YOU CAN PICK UP ANYTIME YOU WANT TO PLAY WITH ME, AND THEN THROW ME BACK ON THE GROUND? IM HURT NICKY." I scream with tears in my eyes. "NATE I CHEATED ON YOU." Nicky screams out with closed eyes. "I know." I fell to the ground on my knees. "Nate I don't know why I did it, you weren't showing me love, and I wanted someone who was." Nicky got on her knees with me. I got up and walked out the door, slamming it behind me.

Nicky's POV

"I fucked up, I really fucked up this time." I whispered into the phone to Lizzy. "I understand why you did it, but Nicky Nate is crushed." Lizzy says. "I know, and I don't know how I'm going to fix it." I hung up because I know Lizzy doesn't like seeing/hearing  me cry. I got up off the floor and ran down the stairs to see if Nate was still in the house, I called his name a couple times but no answer. I rushed out the door, with my purse in hand and keys in another. I hopped on the car and drove off.

Nate's POV

this is where I go when I'm upset. "Sir, what would you like to order?" Don't judge me, food is my happy place. "Sir?.." The middle aged woman repeated. "I'm sorry ma'am, um can I get the oatmeal, with blueberries." I said with a fake smile, I didn't want her to know how hurt I was on the inside. "Sure thing, honey." The woman took my menu and walked away. "Nate" I turned around to see my ex girlfriend Rebecca, or Melissa. She lied about herself to me, I thought she was Rebecca, but she was really Melissa. "What are you doing here?" I questioned her. "I was walking around the city, and I saw you in the restaurant." She smiled as she sat down. "Melissa please don't" I stammer, "oh but please Nate baby I miss you." Melissa slides over to my side and starts rubbing on my shoulder. Melissa is staring out the window now, I turn and see Nicky is her black SUV. She nodding her head to whatever music until she turns and does a double take and sees me and Melissa together. She has tears in her eyes and drives off. "Fuck." I mumble. "Was that your girlfriend?" Melissa tilts her head, and twist her hair while licking her lips. She's trying to be sexy, but it isn't working. "Yeah, um I should go" I moved Melissa out the way, and slid out the booth.

Nicky's POV

I don't know what to do. My life is just falling apart I'm losing the one man I love and I cheated on him. I'm a cold hearted bitch and I deserve everything that's happening to me. *INCOMING CALL* "Nate the cutiee💋"
Me: hello?
Nate: baby I'm sorry
Me: why are you apologizing?
Nate: because I was a total dick
Me: Nate do-
CRASH
Nate: NICKY, NICKY SAY SOMETHING BABY.
phone line is dead.
