"Akemi, get down here now!", I heard someone shouting from out of my room. It surely sounded like my sister. Who else would have call me, no one else is with me.
I smiled and rolled off my bed, when my toes touched the cold wooden floor. Then I stepped out of the room, and walked down the stars, the second one from the top was making weird noises, like always. It was really old and rotten, it often reminded me of these books I read. Where the protagonists find awesome treasures under it, that leads them to even more secrets in their own house. But I never believed in Fantasies or Fairy Tales. Since they are just existing to teach us leasons in a weird way, when you are small and childish, right?
I always jump down, once I reached the third step, it's not so high. My sister was leaning at the wall, looking down at me. She was 17 so she was 5 years older. When I looked into her dark brown eyes, I smile. Her eyes always seem so full of life and pleasure.
"Food's ready, princess...", she smiled and nodded. I jumped the way to the kitchen table, and sit down on the small chair that was only meant for me, in front of me is a hot plate full of Ramen. I grinned widely and grabbed my chopsticks.
"Itadakimasu!", I shouted loudely and started to pick up some Ramen. My sister just sat next to me and looked at me, she was watching me with a slight smile on her face.
Then it happened, all of the sudden everything changed.
It started all when we heard screaming out of the city core, it seemed like something bad happened. But in my age I couldn't understand what happened. After that my sister stood up and glanced out of the window. She shook her head and smiled at me, grabbing my hand and squeezing it softly.
