Chapter 5

Aria's POV

I rolled over in bed. Ezra had his arms rapped around my waist.
"Hey beautiful." He smiled.
"Hey Ezra." I smiled back.
"What would you like for breakfast?" Ezra asked.
"I'm not sure. I'll go and see what Avery wants." I said getting up.

I walked through to her room and found her sitting at her plastic pink table.

"Hey Avie." I smiled and kneeled down beside her.
"Hi mommy." She replied as she poured 'tea' into a plastic cup for her cream bunny.
"What are you doing?"
"Having a tea party with fluffy, nelly and bubbles." She told me, pointing to the bunny, elephant and dog.
"Okay, what would you like for breakfast?" I asked.
"Pancakes."
"Good choice." I said picking her up and sitting her on my hip.

I sat her on a chair at the table and walked over to one of the cupboards where we keep the bread and pancakes and all that.

I took the packet of pancakes out and grabbed two. They were quite small, so perfect size for Avery.

I buttered the pancakes and gave them to her, then went over to the fridge and got out the carton of apple juice and poured it into a purple plastic cup with pink handles.
I put it down in front of her.

"Thanks mommy." She grinned biting into one of the pancake.
"Good morning princess!" Ezra smiled giving Avery a kiss on the cheek.
"Hi daddy!"

I sat down next to Avery with my mug of coffee and bowl of muesli.
Ezra joined us with a slice of toast and his mug of coffee.

"Right, I have to go. I won't be back until late tonight. I've got a meeting." He said looking down at his watch.
"Oh okay, see you later." I said kissing him on the lips.
"Bye sweetie." He kissed her on the forehead and left the kitchen.

After having breakfast, I took Avery back up to her room and she sat down on the floor in front of her wardrobe.

"You okay?" I laughed.
"Yeah, I'm just choosing what to wear."
"Okay, would you like my help?" I picked up then put her onto the bed.
"Yes please."

I walked over to the wardrobe and scanned for an outfit.
I chose a sleeveless denim top and black leggings with a hoodie and ugg boots.

"Do you need my help?"
"I can do this myself." She told me. I left the clothes on the bed.
"Can I go and get ready?" I asked.
"No! Don't leave me."
"I won't leave you. Ever." I reassured her.
"Good!" She said pulling her leggings up.

She finished off getting dressed, I went to get myself ready.

We left the house to go to the Brew to meet the girl since I didn't have to go to work.
I took her out of the car and and we walked into the Brew.
I saw the girls sitting on the chairs in the corner.
Avery let go of my hand and ran over to them.
"Emily!" She squealed.
"Hi Avie!" Em replied sitting her on her lap.
"Guess what." Avery said to the girls as I joined them.
"What?" Alison asked.
"It's my birthday tomorrow! And, in going to be this many!" She told them holding up four fingers.
"Wow! You're such a big girl!" Spencer said.
"I know!" Avery grinned.
"Actually, I wanted to talk about that. I need to go shopping for you-know-who." I said eyeing Avery. "So, I'm going to drop her off with my mom and we can go shopping." I told them.
"Okay, sounds good." Hanna said.

We all got up and walked out the Brew and towards our cars.
"Why don't you drop her off at mine. Melissa's there, plus I need to go and get more money."
"Okay." I replied strapping Avery into her car seat.

The rest of the girls went off the mall while Spencer and I went to her house.

"Hey Melissa, could you look after Avery for a while? We're going shopping for her." Spencer asked her big sister.
"Sure, if be happy to." Melissa smiled.
"Okay sweetie, be good. I'll be back soon." I said kissing her cheek.
"Bye mommy." She said kissing my cheek.
Spencer and I walked over to the door while Avery sat down on the sofa with Melissa and Veronica.
"Oh, before I forget, we are having a birthday party on Saturday for Avery, I was wondering if you wanted to come. I'll give Spencer the details and she can text them to you." I smiled.
"Sounds good Aria." Melissa replied.

We took my car to the mall and met the girls in Carters.

We ended up going to about seven different stores and bought toys, clothes and DVDs.

After a good four hours of shopping then lunch, we headed back home.

I went to pick up Avery.

Hanna took my presents for Avery to hers as Avery would probably end up finding all the presents.

"Did you have fun with Melissa?" I asked.
"Yes I did! We watched Disney!"
"That's good. Thanks Melissa." I smiled.
"No problem." She smiled.

We left Spencer's house and went back home where I set up the DVD player.

"Okay sweetie, what should we watch?"
"The little mermaid!"
I nodded then put the DVD into the player and played the movie.

The time was nearing six so I decided to start making dinner.
Pizza.

I took the pizza out the oven and my phone buzzed.
I picked up and saw the message from Ezra.

'Hey sweetie, I can't make it home tonight, the snow is too deep. I'll see you tomorrow though x give Avery a hug from me x'

'Okay, see you then x'

I put my phone down then cut the pizza up into slices and served them.

"Avery! Dinner is ready!" I yelled. She ran into the kitchen and sat down at her seat.

Ezra's POV

She pressed her lips onto mine. I kissed her back and we fell onto the bed in the hotel.
"This isn't right." I sighed pulling away.
"Why? She'll never know." Jackie replied kissing me again and unbuttoning my shirt.
I kissed her again and we got into the bed.
I took her top off, then things got even more heated.

Aria's POV

Avery decided to sleep in my room that night.

As she slept next to me my phone buzzed on my bedside table.
I picked it up and saw the blocked number.

'Do you like fuckboys? Because I don't. Maybe you should take a good look at your boyfriend if you hate those guys -A'

There was an attachement to the message.
I clicked on the video file and watched the video quietly.

"Oh my god Ezra..." A woman moaned. "She'll never know." She continued.
"She better not... I love you Jackie..." He whispered the last part.

I dropped my phone and hugged Avery.
I started crying.

Why would he do this to me? Why? I trusted him!
