Aria's POV
"Miss Montgomery. I have some sad news." The nurse started.
"I'm I not allowed to go home?"
"Yes, you are, but where the knife hit your stomach, it sadly impaled your baby."
"What?" I asked in confusion.
"I'm sorry Miss Montgomery."
"I-there must be some confusion. I wasn't pregnant."
"Yes you were. You were one month."
"But I didn't have any of the symptoms."
"That can happen sometimes. I'm so sorry for your loss."
I didn't know what to say. How could I be pregnant? Ezra hasn't been here. We haven't had sex in about three months. We've hardly done it since we had Avery.
I couldn't be. Could I?

I sunk down in the bed. Thinking about things.

I then got up and went to pack my things. I looked down at my stomach. I lifted the top up.
There was a large white dressing over the wound.
I placed my hand on my stomch.
"I'm so sorry baby." I whispered, before beginning to pack a bag that Spencer had brought round for me.

Alison came to pick me up when I called her.
I was still in shock about the baby, meaning the car ride was pretty silent and awkward.
"How are you feeling?" Alison asked to break the tension.
"Okay." I felt like I had to tell her about the baby. I had to tell someone. "Listen Ali, something happened in that hospital, and I-I just don't know how to process it." I said turning to face her.
"Well what was it?"
"I was pregnant. Apparently. I didn't know I was. My baby was stabbed and killed. I was a month along."
"Oh my god..." Ali muttered. "Aria, I-I'm so sorry."
"Yeah..." I trailed off looking out the window.
The rest of the ride was silent. I don't think I should tell anyone about this.
-
"Mommy!" Avery yelled in excitement when she saw me.
"Hi baby." I smiled crouching down and hugging her as she ran do me.
"I missed you momma." She sniffled.
"I missed you too baby girl."
"I love you so much." Avery said not letting go of me.
"I love you too honey. So much." I picked her up and held her. "Would you guys like to go out for a while? To the Brew?" I suggested.
"Sure." Hanna replied. She had been looking after Avie today.

We went to the Brew and saw Emily working there.
"Hey Aria." Em smiled. "You feeling any better?"
"Yeah." I lied. Ali looked over to me and raised her eyebrows. I shook my head at her, signalling I wasn't going to tell her. She gave me a sympathetic smile in her understanding.

I ordered a skinny latte and a hot chocolate for Avery.
"Em, join us." Hanna said as she handed our drinks out.
"I wish I could but I'm working." Emily sighed. "I better go back. I'll catch up with you guys soon."
"Okay."

"Do you guys know where Ezra is yet?" I asked placing my mug on the table.
The girls looked guilty. Like they were hiding something from me.
"Guys, if you know something that I don't, please tell me. I'm not in the mood for bullshitting right now." I threatened.
"Aria, we got a text message from the bitch. They said Ezra was... He was..." Hanna stuttered.
"He was what?"
"Locked up. I didn't specify where, or what, like if it was jail or not." She blurted out.
Is walked he huge lump in my throat.
"I'm going to call the prison."

I grabbed my phone and dialled the prison number.
As it rang, the girls looked concerned.
"Hi, yes. I was wondering if a man called Ezra Fitzgerald but he goes by Ezra Fitz, I was wondering if he was in your care at the moment?"
"No ma'am."
"Oh okay, thank you." I sighed hanging up. "He's not there."
"Where is he then?" Spencer asked.
"I don't know. What if this bitch has him?"
-
Ezra's POV
I want my daughter. I want my beautiful girlfriend. I need them. I have no idea where I am at the moment and I want to get out of here.
It's dark, cold and smells of damp.
I think I'm sitting on concrete. It feels like it.

A bright white light flashed on, practically blinding me.
I covered my eyes with my hands.
"Hello?" I called out to the unknown.
There was no reply. The light became dimmer as it got closer to me.
"Hello? Where am I?" Again, no reply, just the noise of heavy breathing.
Suddenly the light went out and I was submerged back into the darkness.

I felt a sharp pain in my leg, I touched it and it was wet. I could smell my own blood.
A tear slipped down my face in pain.
Pain of the wound and the sadness I might not see my wonderful and beautiful girls again.

I need your help! So, I've had this story idea for a while. A young girl is in Alison's class. She goes to Alison for help. It turns out she has a little sibling due to becoming an orphan. Who would read it?

Anyway, poor Ezra. And OMG THE BABY! I wonder if it really was Ezra's baby...?
